Took small cable car up part way, then switched to large cable car up to a beautiful lake high up on the mountain. It was partly cloudy which made for ever changing wonderful views and pictures. Hiked down mountain for 3 hours past gushing river and waterfalls. Returned to town via funicular after stopping for coffee and a snack. Amazing experience for everyone in our group.
Our hotel provided us with walking/trekking sticks. I highly recommend you use these. The path is well marked but is extremely uneven and difficult to walk without the aid of the sticks.

Beautiful way through the valley. We did the way from Zbonijcka Chata to Tatranska Lomnica since it was our third day of hike, but it is also possible to make the other way. The way to Tatranska is almost completely downhill, and toke us about 4.5 hours of walking, including stops for coffee and hiding out from the rain. We highly recommend this trail.

A truly spectacular place to hike - seriously impressive whether to weather is terrible or great! Trails are still accessible and passable in late November, but with far less hikers to share them with. A hidden gem.

One of the best and most picteresque places in High Tatra mountains. Breathtaking views. Highly recommend visiting early in the morning, when there's still fog.
