I remember going to hike tatras with my brother and mom when I was around 13 or so, it started raining on our way back down and we stopped in and got some amazing soup and as you can probably see from other reviews the kind owner gave me and my brother quilts to put over ourselves to keep warm while we ate <3 thank you for your hospitality

Amazingly generous and kind lady owner gave my children snacks without payment because I had no cash. I did not expect generosity like this and I will always remember it. Thank you very much again !

Inside the hut there are very nice vintage bells and climbing equipment decoration, there is also tables and seating outside. Very lovely place definitely worth stopping for a drink or snacks. Thank you very much again !

The first built shelter was on the south side of the mountain. In the house there is a small exhibition about the history of porters and climbers, old climbing equipment, utensils and many photographs. Drinks are also available.

What a lovely place! Nice cozy cottage with snacks, some food and many drinks. It’s a nice stop when you hiking around or it can be your today’s destination. It’s easy accessible, no problem to come here with smaller kids, nature is amazing and you find here some water falls around too.

This is my favorite chata in the high tatras. During our trips in the mountain we usually visit this cozy little shelter to grab some hot wine or some beer as refreshment.It is just so cute place that everyone need to see it.

Yes, a wonderful place in the High Tatras. It's nice to enjoy a good beer here and post a photo on some social network, right?

Just please don't forget - if you want your children to be able to see and enjoy this place sometime in the future, there's no shame in taking more trash than you brought to the Tatras.

It is absolutely embarrassing to listen to how a cottager who has lived here half his life convinces a foreign tourist to take his cookie wrapper back with him.

Coziest cottage we have seen in High Tatras. Features much needed hot wine, interior filled with old climbing equipment, warm welcoming and a friendly fox, who's very interested in whatever you are snacking. Such an authentic experience, it's impossible not to adore this place.

A nice stop when hiking in Tatras. There was a manger made from snow outside when we were there in wintertime. Little cottage inside with drinks/cookies and magnets/postcards offer.

Cosy place, with the best tea with Tatra tea, best when snowing, cottage keeper makes big Bethlehem from snow....only 20 minutes walking distance from the cabin, worth to take sledges and slide there.

Lovely spot, the only thing we missed is the info displays translated to English.. unfortunately. Which would not be a problem if there would be signal and you could Google it :D

Great place, crowdy all day long but set and exciting scenery and accessible even with stroller from Hrebienok.
