Koliba Restaurant Penzión Starý Smokovec

We spent the best dinnertime in Koliba restaurant. The staff were the most synchronised, friendliest goodfellas we've ever seen. Their home made tatra tea was something we will never forget. We enjoyed every bite of the food. If there was a 5+1 star rating, it would be for Koliba.

Great place to eat in Starý Smokovec. Traditional Cottage. Perfect Service, all staff polite, smiley and hardworking. Food was amazing. Tasty wine. We went there on Saturday evening so there was live music as well.

Visited with my friends nearly every night while on our week's stay in Starý Smokovec.

Exceptionally great Slovakian food for very reasonable price. Roasted pork knuckle was third.. maybe second best I had in my life. Best kolyba in Slovakia for me so far. And you must try tatratea ;) Not sure if it is authentic but worth trying for sure

We have enjoyed our meal here a lot! Very cute cottage and the service was fast and friendly. Also the variety of traditional Slovak meals was great! We loved it! Recommend it 100%

Here we received the best service that we’ve ever gotten at a Slovak restaurant. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The food was ready so fast and tasted incredible.

Tasty and comfy food. Service is very good too. Definitely recommend. Strudel is especially tasty for a dessert.

Very cute and dainty, good variety of food options. Highly recommend the garlic soup and the pirohy! Pilsner beer also very nice. Nice start (or end) to a beautiful hiking trip.

Tipical Slovak food, very well cooked. Not only tourists, but also locals join this place. Gnocchi and Goulash super.

Perfect food, perfect service, they are fast too. I love this place.. it's also very cozy ☺ We ate the Tatra plate. It was full of more kinds of meat and others like rice, fries and vegetables. You have to pay more for the good quality but it worth it..

Very cosy Koliba, kind and professional staff. Tasty halusky with strong bryndza flavor and crunchy bacon :)
