It’s a restaurant at the hotel. We booked a table in advance, otherwise you won’t be seated.
We ordered 2 types of octopus: grilled and roasted (it was a bit oily, but still delicious), local cheese with jam, desserts.
I would recommend this place for dinner!

Excellent food and surprisingly not as pricey as it looks. Have eaten here at least three times over the past couple of years and it hasn’t disappointed even once.

I had the best Tuna Steak ever here. I asked for it Medium Rare and it was cooked to perfection and tasted so fresh. I also shared the octopus salad with my friend and it was incredible. The service was friendly and attentive and the prices were reasonable. I’d highly recommend this place.

My husband and I dined outside for dinner on their patio under the green canopy of subtropical trees last week. We ordered the octopus for two and a bottle of vinho verde. The octopus was super tender and packed with flavor from the other ingredients; the smoky chouriço, onions, garlic and olive oil. Potatoes were also in there to soak up the deliciousness, and the dish also came with a side of sautéed vegetables. The bright acidity from the vinho verde complimented perfectly. We look forward to coming back. Do make a reservation aforehand. We showed up without one and were chided a little bit for that, but we were lucky and they were able to accommodate us nonetheless.

Amazing steak and large portions. Can share between two if you are not very hungry

Hidden in a beautiful garden, this restaurant is inside Aldeia da Fonte hotel but also serves outside clients, not only in house guests. Here you can try regional and local flavours such as octopus stewed in red wine, “molha de carne” (beef stew with cinnamon) and the adored grilled limpets. This being said, here you can sit back, relax and drink a glass of the many regional wines they have to offer.

Insider tip: Friday evening a Chinese buffet is served.

Eaten one of the best restaurant lasagna ever, properly flavoured and seasoned.
And the place is just gorgeous.

Sehr schönes Restaurant direkt an der Hotelanlage. Es war zum Sonntag Mittagessen stark besucht, deswegen mussten wir etwas auf das Essen warten. Alles sehr frisch und gut zubereitet.

Wir hatten Thunfisch Steak und Kalbssteak sowie Salat und Eis als Dessert. Das Essen war frisch und sehr lecker. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sehr schöne Terrasse unter Bäumen.
Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Absolut empfehlenswert. Reservierung wird empfohlen

Excelente. Comemos no espaço exterior, coberto por frondosas árvores, trabalhadas ao longo dos anos para criarem esta cobertura natural. As opções de escolha são várias e o que se provou estava no ponto. O serviço é simpático e profissional. Toda a experiência da envolvente contribui para a satisfação que demonstro.

Seria necessário um dicionário para usar todas as palavras que descrevem a qualidade, ambiência e excelência da comida. Sem duvida o melhor restaurante dos Açores em que tive a oportunidade de disfrutar de tudo que têm para o cliente. Não se inibam de lá ir, certamente vão adorar. Os meus parabéns ao Sr Dr Simas pelo que construiu.
