A traditional Português restaurant. Portions are very large. The waiter will tell you that 1 order is enough for 2 people and we agree! We had a veal steak and medium salad. That was more than enough. We could have done without the salad. The veal steak came with lots of french fries and tomatoes. For our veal steak, medium salad and 750ml house wine, the total was $31.50 - very reasonable. The service was fast. We arrived right at 6:30 when they opened and were finished by 7:30. They do get busy though so come at 6:30 when they open.

Very nice local restaurants with great portions and very tasty food. Definitely try the fish soup and the Beef stake! Tip: if you don’t want to wait, go early!

So, I don't know where to start. If you visit this restaurant please ask for the fish soup! One of the best I've ever had. But keep in mind that you won't probably be able to eat whatever you ask next. The portions are huge!!! I did ask for pork ribs (half portion) and the picture shows everything I got. The desert was also a big slice of "Molotov" which was amazing. Please visit this amazing place andd enjoy the amazing food and service 🙂

We had an amazing lunch in this restaurant, we tried both fish and meat. Pay attention to the size! One main dish (~10/15€) is enough for two.

Excellent food at very reasonable prices. The portions are huge. I ordered the "small" portion of pork chops and there was enough to feed two.

In our opinion the best restaurant in town (and maybe even in Portugal!)

I read the reviews and ordered the small portion. Even that was enough for two people! The grilled chicken was especially good. As was the fish soup.

Don’t be fooled by the simple aesthetics, this place will pleasantly surprise you! Traditional family-run restaurant, with wonderfully friendly staff, delicious dishes, and very generously-sized portions. I’d definitely go again!

Amazing traditional Portuguese restaurant! I can eat a good amount of food and I will confirm with previous reviews...bring your appetite! Very generous and delicious portions. My wife ordered the ‘small shrimps’ there were roughly 12-18 giant shrimps! She loved them and managed to pound them back. I ordered the chicken, delicious! And it was a full, bbq’d chicken. They do not speak any English but are very friendly and kind. Great original experience.

I was there with a friend for dinner. We found it almost by accident when coming back from a late day at the beach.
The staff was super nice and efficient and the food is proper Portuguese. Big portions, but they are happy to box up the extra for take away.
The carob, fig and almond tart we had for dessert just hit the spot at the end.

We shared a big grilled chicken and it was very good and plenty. I think it was a whole chicken which smelled like made on an open fire. Prices are cheap, especially if you share. You have to wait a while for the food.

Great food good service. Large portions and low prices. Would Go again. Opens at 18.30 need to be on time as is very popular.

It's all about the bass. No nonsense, traditional food. An immaculately grilled bass, copious crisp chips, mixed salad and a couple of glasses of house white with ice. The fact that Portuguese families are prepared to wait for an hour and a half outside in the street for a table says it all.

Amazing Portuguese food for a great price. About 25 euro for two (grilled fish, pork chops, salad, wine, beer, water, espresso). Good value for money. Very large portions: One dish could easily serve two people.
