Hands down one of the best seafood meals we've ever eaten. One of us had the sea bass, a daily special. The skin was cooked perfectly, the meat was tender, and the presentation was great. The other one of us had the swordfish steak, which was delicious and tender. Portions were large, and sides were fresh and tasty. It seems like it's a mom and pop place, with the owners serving the dinner. Would strongly recommend if you're in the area. Note: cash only.

The best food we had in our 4 days trip in algarve. Totally recommend! Everything - from soup to main dishes to deserts. Desert with carob was so good that we took more to eat at our place . I had a vegan meal and it was the best vegan meal I had in algarve.

Amazing meal. Super friendly staff. We shared the grilled sardines, a daily special which was monkfish and beans, and a cream cake for dessert. All delicious.

A lot of fish and snd typical portuguesean food like cataplana.
We took rhe catch of the day salmon and grilled squid. It was very delicious!

Great hidden local place! The food is great, service is good, and it’s really cheap. The portions are big so if you don’t eat much maybe skip a starter.

Enjoyed a great traditional salad and a vegan stew. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.

Very homey, family-run Portugese restaurant. The staff was lovely, efficient, and they served me possibly the best grilled fish I’ve ever tasted. A little off the beaten path, but one of my favorite dining experiences in Portugal, if not all of Europe!

Looks very simple from outside but the food is very good Portuguese cooking. Fresh fish on daily specials is excellent.

Very nicht family run restaurant. We had clamps and fresh fish from the market in sagres. Exzellent food and an amazing price to value ratio! Best food we had on our 2 week hiking trail!

Holy moly this place is the real deal. We were looking for a comfortable atmosphere with seafood delicacies, we were not disappointed. A spectacled and charismatic young chap delivered excellent service throughout: when we asked about the percebes in the fridge (search goose barnacle if you're unsure) he recommended we try a small portion as an appetizer. These were a new experience for us, absolutely sumptuous and satisfying. The fish stew we ordered for main was perfect. Everything was reasonably priced, all in all a real find during low tourist season!

The grilled sardines and other fish dishes which we have ordered, were just fantastic! Very fresh and perfectly cooked. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, who is visiting Sagres and its region.

And if you miss this experience of food people and culture without taking in the great tastes, hospitality and all around Portuguese acceptance you need to go back to the Beach. Here you will find folks, food and fun without borders or need to speak impeccable Portuguese. Enjoy for the many benefits and memories
