Pisco

After finding this place randomly one evening, and having a beautiful meal we had to come back for the tasting menu - VG & GF, and it was incredible. Such a wonderful experience from start to end. You can feel the amount of thought, nurture and love that has gone into every aspect of each dish. One of my most enjoyable restaurant experiences ever - and incredibly reasonably priced, especially for the exceptional quality and lovely staff. Thank you!!

We went there as a couple. We shared two starters and had two main courses from the seasonal creations dish selection.

As starters we had the polenta chips with tomato olive dip (polenta) and the celeriac cappaccio (apio). We shared them both and they were really delicious.

As main dishes we had the mushroom steak (roar) and one of the special offers of that day which was a pasta dish.

Afterwards we had the chocolate mousse and the cream dessert (pavlova pisco mess).

Everything was really, really delicious. We came there a second time and ordered pizza for takeaway. We chose pizza pisco and abobora (made vegan).

Would really recommend going there and could go there a hundred times more!

Don’t miss this place. We went there twice because it was so good the first time and we’re 100% satisfied both times. Great food (try the pizza), excellent service and one of very few vegetarian spots we found during our trip in Portugal.

PISCO is a true vegan gourmet restaurant. It is for me one of the best restaurants at the West Algarve. You need a reservation since there are just about 20 settings in this restaurant.
The food is just delicious, starting with the Couvert consisting of three types of homemade bread plus homemad seaweed mayo. The main dishes were gourmet food at its best with different levels of taste perception. And the sweet deserts are a must have.
We enjoyed a friendly, professional and unobtrusive service in a cosy atmosphere.
I would have given 6 stars!

Yes, they position themselves as the vegetarian/vegan place to go... Don't let that stop you from going if you are not.

1 of the 6 of us are vegetarian, and ALL 6 of us loved our meals. Starters AND pizzas (there are carnivore options).

Book a table in advance as it gets busy, even on weekdays (we arrived mid-week).

Very friendly and welcoming staff, an interesting cocktail list and great food. All around a win.

Absolutely sensational restaurant. This place is jaw dropping. We are still discussing the Lions Mane Mushroom Steak 3 days later. As inventive and delicious as you will find anywhere in the world! Such a lovely atmosphere too, wow wow wow wow.

Truly Devine. We were told about this restaurant in Dec but had more days left to try it. This trip to Sagres we called and were delighted to get a reservation for Monday night. The food is delicious with so many different vegan and vegetarian options- it was difficult to decide. We enjoyed the tacos made with nasturtium leaves and flowers and homemade seitan. The grilled mushrooms had fabulous layers of flavor. The Mariana pizza featured local oregano and the spicy oil has hints of cardamom, ginger and garlic. The chocolate with fig roll dessert was amazing. Wish they were open for lunch so there would be more opportunity to try more options. Highly recommend.

Very tasty, original and healthy restaurant. Hands down, when after our surf class we stopped buy this little place - we were shocked. Food is very original and tasty at the same time. Stuff is very professional and helpful and nice. Place is very cute. I loved our experience at this place. Should be at least recommended by Michelin Guide.

Wow, unexpected in Vila do Bispo, such a culinary delight. We both opted for the blind tasting menu, it was incredible, I promise, you will not be disappointed . The mushroom pate was are favorite.

The food was amazing! We had five sharing plates and a dessert. The service was perfect (felt like a Michelin star restaurant - no joke). We already reserved for a second time. Highly recommend.

I would give 10 stars if I could! 🥰 so happy I’ll be living next door in Sagres. Fantastic food and service! With every visit this place surprises you in more and more ways. Their desserts are absolutely divine, best ones I’ve ever had in my life - and I’ve had many!

Outstanding and contemporary restaurant mainly based on vegetables with amazing natural wines!!! Authentic and very honest hospitality. We visited them twice and we loved everything! We will go back definately! ❤ Don’t miss their “Black Babá” dessert!!!

Intriguing selection of dishes. We loved the tacos, which are not your average tacos. And they have a great pizza selection so you can combine yummy pizza with fine dining! Oh and their natural wine selection is delicious

I would give this restaurant the double amount of stars if that was possible. I barely ever am touched after eating a dish, but the tempeh I just ate really hit home. I was generally sad my plate was empty. It was a gorgeous plate to start with and it tasted as it looked. It just had everything: taste, structure, color and presentation. I might just eat here again and order the same dish before we go back home. It's not just the tempeh though. The music, the service, the vegan cheese, the pizza, the wine, the atmosphere... I will stop rambling now, just go eat here if you are nearby!

Cozy place in the old town of Vila do Bispo. With a wide variety of vegetarian options there is also place for a “pizza de chorizo” (picture).
Bear in mind when ordering, the size of the pizza is large :)

Pretty mindblowing vegan food...
wait no..... pretty mindblowing food! You really feel like you are having a full unrestricted food adventure in Pisco. The dishes are beautiful first of all and so full of surprises and unexpected combos that really work. The pizzas look good but I think you will have more of an adventure ordering all the sharing plates. Its a little out of the way but well worth the trip, just make sure you email them to book a table in advance. GET THE TACOS!

After 5 years I live in Algarve finally a place where you can eat something different, delicious and made with passion!! Eating at Pisco is an experience that must be tried!! Congratulations to Rosalba and Damiano for opening this lovely restaurant!!
