Our tour guide from Wonder Van, Tomás, brought my family to this incredibly delightful local restaurant. I HIGHLY recommend trying the quail or salmon. These organic and perfectly cooked meals were paired the a delightful red wine or refreshing beer. Be sure to save room for a light dessert that leaves your tastebuds wanting more (even when you're full). Large portions at an affordable low price... so worth frequenting whenever in the area!

A down-to-earth steak joint where you pick your meat or fish, they grill it up, toss in some killer hand-cut chips, and finish you off with a sweet dessert. A real local spot, no frills, just great grub!

Super friendly staff (older guy) and good black coffee. Could easily communicate in English. What can be improved? Plant based milk availability.

A tour guide brought us here and i was very pleased with the food. It was beautifully prepared, plentiful, and seemed authentic. I am so sad I can't go back there and get that dorado fish again. And the chocolate mousse. So, so good!!!

There is a coffee that is part of the restaurant that opens at 8:00 and closes at 20:00. The coffee and the restaurant are owned by the same person so they have the same name but there different places.

About the coffee:
Modest and cozy coffee/restaurant in the center of Penedo. Great for a breakfast, food or even some beers when the weather is good. Very friendly owner and nice surroundings in this typical beautiful Portuguese village. Very zen vibes around

Wonderfully authentic family Portugese restaurant. You choose your piece of meat from the fridge. You pay for the price of your meat and wine, 7up, desert, soup, you name it, comes with your meal! A real family feel

Feels very authentic, delicious food. We chose our fish and meat from the counter that got grilled right there in front of us. English speaking and lovely staff. Tonnes of cycling memorabilia all over the place.

You have to love it! not a traditional restaurant, it is an experience. simple, fast, easy and great food.

A great place for a Portuguese lunch. Don't expect anything fancy. A choice of various fish, meat, pork. Grilled to order and served with fries, wine and Sprite.
This all at a very good price!
