We rented bikes from Cascais to get here. It was the perfect distance (an hour long ride at a leisurely pace) - I would recommend. Bring your own lunch because all the restaurants near the beach are really pricey!

Don’t think twice and worth the every effort. If you can learn some surfing it will be a great experience. The Atlantic Ocean water was as chill as refrigerator water in July. Enjoy

Very nice, quiet, beach which has a lot of surfing lesson and rental businesses nearby, as well as bar/small food places on either side of the beach.

Awesome beach and surfing spot. There is a surfing school and bar/restaurant. Also I found it most of the time we went the beach was not as crowded as many other beaches. Parking isn’t free and if you choose to rent beach bed/lounger with an umbrella you’ll have to pay around € 30 for the day - a single beach bed/lounger is € 8 (north side of the beach).

The tides at this understated beach are amazing, water feels so refreshing without any tinge of stains nor dirt.

We were just driving by and the waves looked amazing. A deep blue color that was quite different from other places. Didn't get to spend time there but it was nice.

Unbelievable views and waves. The beach is so big, so you will need to take about thirty minutes walk to reach out the end of it! I loved it from the first moments here! It’s no problem to take bus or uber to get here. I would recommend spent at least several hours here. As views will stuck you for long time 😅

Really nice Beach with a few fast food joints nearby and some nice snack and ice cream stalls as well. A very calm and beautiful beach in Porto that I would recommend to tourists if they're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of tourists in Porto

This was a beautiful beach!! The hike along the cliffs was beautiful as well. There was a lovely stone beach by the cliff side ruins. We had lunch at the restaurant down on, I think, the north end of the beach. The restaurant was lovely. Lunch was delicious! I had the salmon burger, but someone walked by with the octopus and it smelled and looked delicious. I would definitely go here again.

Spectacular beach with magnificent rocks, marvelous water and great waves for different water sports. A bit windy - which I like a lot. A few great bars and cafes around, as well as hotels to stay. The sounds of the waves are soothing and intense in a good way. It’s a bit colder beach than other beaches due to the wind. Great place to watch the sunset over the ocean!

This is one of the most beautiful beaches of this part of the Portuguese coast, the environment is spectacular surrounded by dunes and one impressive rocky cliffs.
It is not a beach where it is easy to enjoy a swim and a sunny day, as the wind and a large swell are common, however this makes it very attractive for surfers.
In the surroundings of the beach there is a great supply of restaurants for all the pockets, although rather expensive (until there is one with Michelin star), as well as of hotels from the most basic to with a good number of stars.
