The best meal we've had on our Azores islands hopping. This is a family run restaurant and you can tell the food will be delicious if grandma is the chef.

The fish soup and the oxtail stew (Alcatra) was so delicious. It was so tender that the meat literally falls off. This is place is very popular with locals. Definitely a hidden gem. The price was very reasonable.

The hospitality we got from the husband and wife that runs this restaurant is something we will remember about Azores.

Hearty and delicious food. Very nice staff always ready to help. Do yourself a favor and get the cheesecake!!!!!

Loved this place! I was looking for a place locals went to try the food they truly eat. If the azores had a drive in, diners and dives this place would be on it! Everything homemade by locals. You could tell the girl serving us and the older lady in the back cared that we enjoyed there food. And we did! We took a food tour while in Terceira but we felt a visit here was more authentic than anywhere they took us!

I would classify this under must visit! I walked over here from my hotel and so glad I was able to. The place was filled with patrons and from the reviews the cake was a requirement. The server placed my order and recommended limpets and explained the origin of a chili sauce imported from Macau. The owners were the nicest people Ive met. And coincidentally I ran into them on the plane ride back to lisbon the next day. Hard working people and glad they had some time off!

Everything that we ordered was nice and the waiters tried to help us with the choice by asking us what kind of food we prefer and telling us what is local.
We tried the fish soup, alcatras, seafood starter and for a dessert we had the coconut cheese muffin, it was amazing.

A good selection of budget "entradas" and lunch dishes and an even better and wider selection of everything and and anything connected to Portuguese and AzoriAN cuisine.
Fish soup is ACE and their home made queijo fresco is definitely one of the best on the Island unless you're a local and your grandma makes a good one, obviously...
Although we had a jar of vino da casa, I must admit I was eyeing my neighbour's draught beer in a frozen glass, nice and foAmy... Be willing to wait for a table or reserve as The place is always bangin' packed.. recommendation level : Off The Chart

Had 2 lunches here during the 5 days we were in Terceira. The waitress (probably owner) was very friendly and accommodating. We tried the limpets, ox tongue in clay pot, fried mackerels, chicken gizzards and grilled Boca Negra (fish). All fresh, delicious and large portions! Highly recommend!!! Our best meals in Azores.

What a great surprise! Was looking for a simple lunch… and found a gem. Tiny little place that looks like nothing from the outside, but was packed…. And we found out why.

The lovely lady taking care of us was full of attention. The food was great! Wife and I had delicious chicharros, tiny sardine-like fishes lightly breaded, and a fresh and beautifully grilled trevally.

Will go back if in the area!

Super good simple local spot with superb food and friendly service by Paula. We loved the slow cooked octopus and the local fresh cheese with homemade red pepper sauce (not even sure how to call it):) would definitely go back and suggest you to get it a try too 👌

This is my favourite restaurant on the island. The food is incredible. The hospitality is amazing. The cheesecake was the best l have ever had. Paula and her mother are so lovely. Their delicious homemade liquors made from mountain mint and wild blackberries are sublime. This place is not to be missed. Ring to book as it is a cosy space. Thank you for good times x

We were there 3 times during our 4 days stay.

Local food, best quality ingredients and amazing atmosphere! Place is owned by a mother and her daughter who speaks English perfectly.

Even if it does not look from outside it is amazing restaurant serving delicios food. Owners are extremely friendly. Strongly suggest to pay a visit And definitly have something from their offer.

Best place so far in Terceira for Great value. I had the Oxtail and it was outstanding.
