Highly recommend this restaurant. Great service. Nicely decorated. We had the Azorean meat tasting menu. They also serve a la carte dishes. Broad selection of (local) wines. A must visit restaurant in my opinion when you visit Terceira.

Delicious traditional food, cute little place and friendly staff with great suggestions. It’s nice to take road EN1 from Lajes airport, the restaurant is 30 minutes away, it was an amazing escape for our flight layover.

Restaurant located in Serreta at Terceira island in Azores. It’s one of the top rated restaurants in the island and that must mean something. Staff is extremely friendly and professional. The food is great, if it’s your first time go for the tasting menu where you can have a chance to taste their main dishes. Prices are reasonable. Parking is easy in the surroundings. If you’re planing to visit on Friday or Saturday nights it’s advisable to book a table in advance. The dessert are all delicious and I would recommend the “Doce de Vinagre”. If you have to choose just one restaurant to visit during your stay in the island this is the one. Looking forward to return soon.

Amazing hearty and genuine food from Terceira island (Try their alcatra!) including great wine and dessert of the house, with the tasty Dona Amélia cookie.
Sérgio’s service was absolutely perfect and so much fun.

Delicious traditional food! A must go in Terceira where to try Alcatra and other specialities.

Only comment would be to avoid the cheese board recommended to start the meal deal: it is quite expensive for what it is and, for untrained stomach, it will get you too full to finish the meat dishes… which are exquisite!

Service was awesome, wines were great, meat was on point. Sérgio was one of the best servers we have ever had and completely made the experience.

Must visit this place! Traditional Terceira dishes. Service was very surprised when we ordered a beer instead of wine.

Our tour guide decided that this would be the place we should go to lunch as it offered some of the most traditional Portuguese food and it's being prepared in a traditional manner. As a traveler I was cautious how about some of the Food Specialties like blood sausage but overall it was a tasty experience. The owner spoke some English and so we would have been able to get by without the guide. Having worked in the restaurant industry previously I was amazed at the cleanliness of the rest. Probably one of the most clean I have ever been in. This restaurant is located just off a few incredible places to see in the area and if you would like to explore Portuguese cuisine and be willing to perhaps not absolutely love everything because some of the traditional dishes might seem quarantine concept oh, then you would be foolish to skip this place. It is as friendly and well done as any restaurant I've ever been to. It literally felt like you were invited into someone's home

Not really sure I could add much more to what’s already been properly and truthfully reviewed here - if you’re visiting Terceira you need to plan on a meal here. Welcomed as if you’re a regular. Friendly and humorous staff who will guide you through the fixed menu- it’s all made on premises daily and it’s all so very good. First time? Take their recommendation of the small plates sampler and the Alcatra. 4 meats ( blood sausage, a chorizo style sausage, sweet fat- heavy pork ribs and then meltingly soft pork pieces, accompanied by potatoes and a fried corn bread. You’ll have meat sweats before too long. But wait, there’s the Alcatra stew and sweet bread ( actual bread, not brains!) yet to go - 1/2 day stewed tender beef swimming in a broth of spices and herbs. Rice and potatoes to accompany. If you’re not on the floor after this you have more fortitude than I!
Homey restaurant space with a crackling fire, a quirky collage of 100s of paper currencies Over the bar, and genuinely lovely hospitality. Go.

When you sit down at your table here, the guy who runs the restaurant (I don't know if he's the owner or the manager) will come, joke around with you, and strongly suggest that you order the 12.50 Euro per person tasting menu. The two things you absolutely must try here are the alcatra and the blood sausage: both are included on the tasting menu. Frankly, a week after I ate here I no longer have any memories of anything on the menu other than the alcatra and the blood sausage, but I have fond memories of those two. I was wavering between 4 stars and 5 stars but what pushed me to 5 stars was the value: 12.50 euros for the tasting menu is a great deal!

We had a group meal here. Very meat heavy but some of the absolute best meat I’ve had in a long time. Plus the vinegar pudding was delicious!
