2024 Monday of Carnival group dinner. My wife and I got picanha, fried chicken, and garlic shrimp: very good. Service was outstanding, more than 5 stars - wine selection, and their Fig liquor were excellent. Fantastic value. Worth repeating.

We had dinner here on the recommendation of our tour guides. The food and service were excellent. The staff take the time to explain the dishes and their philosophy on food which sticks with the traditional ways of the Açores. Very reasonable prices for the amount of food you get. Highly recommend this spot.

Great spot for an affordable but delicious lunch. Definitely make a reservation as it’s always packed. The servers are very busy, but kind. Just don’t expect to be asking lots of questions and taking up their time, as you might other places/occasions. They have a plata de día (prob spelled that wrong) and you can choose from fish or meat of the day; I chose fish which was haddock, crispy outside, melt in your mouth inside. Rice with plenty of olive oil (in a good way!) and tomatoes which I got sea salt on the side for. Huge glass of wine too; all for 10 euros! Highly recommend. There were other tables with groups of 6-8, solo, or two-tops. The desserts looked amazing.

Best restaurant that we had on the island , we had the 5 dishes tapas menu. Everything was delicious especially the limpets and the octopus. The service was quick and the waiter was really helpful explaining the menu and giving us good advices on wine.

My wife and I were walking around and found this place. We had the menu of the day. It was really good the place feels authentic and the food was quite delicious. If you are near the area and are looking for something to eat this is a good place

Food and service was fantastic. The restaurant was virtually full, about 1 table was empty but the 1 waitress and 1 cook pulled it off with a smile (they were short staffed that day). The food was outstanding, very dish we had including the desserts were excellent!

The best food we've had in Açores and maybe even the whole of Portugal. Great way of trying various local specialities without having to order a full meal. Delicious traditional cuisine with a twist. We went twice for dinner and once for their lunch deal - always satisfied. The service was nice and attentive and the atmosphere authentic - it's not a typical tourist restaurant but a place for the locals as well.

Recommend by a local and didn’t disappoint. We did the mixed tapas and they were all delicious, but particularly the “home canned” mackerel and the smoked fish tartar for being both very creative and tasty. Very friendly staff and great service, well-timed delivery of the dishes and a lively atmosphere. A truly memorable meal. Thank you!

Very nice tapas-style restaurant. Small portions made it a great place to try things we didn't want to buy a full meal of (like octopus!) Great food, good prices, and nice atmosphere.

I was here more than 7 times now and all the times the food is impeccable, the service is fast and the atmosphere is nothing but exquisite. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the whole island, furthermore I do believe that for a pleasant and caring experience, this is the place you should pick.

Such an enjoyable experience! We had a reservation for 10, and every single person enjoyed the food. The owner was super knowledgeable, and gave us backstories of our food, and the wines that he collects. Five of our people got the steak, and the other five got the tapas to share, and had no complaints! 100% reccomend, and will be back.

There are small tapas menu so it's possible to try different things in small portions. Everything delicious 😋

It would deserve a 5 star room. But this it’s ok since you go to the sky with the tasteful food.

Had an excellent meal last night- we went with servers suggestions for plates and wine. Staff are very knowledgeable and pleasant, despite being very busy they always had time to answer questions or explain dishes. Liners were outstanding. All 5 small plates were fabulous. Highly recommend this restaurant. Will definitely return if I ever return to Terceira
