Aug2023: we loved it - too bad the outdoor seating is very limited, but it was totally ok to eat inside also - service was great and food was very good

I was so happy to find a restaurant with salad on the menu! They also had chicken. It was delicious. My friend had the rump roast served with sweet bread. Prices are reasonable. There were locals dining here. They have a DJ on Saturday nights.

tasty local food, good portions, friendly staff and great value for the money

An unpretentious bistro(?) in the heart of the restaurant district. Good wine list with great prices. Menu selections are wide and prices good. Had the octopus appetizer and two varieties of steak--both cooked to perfection. Service was great with good english. No atmosphere but it doesn't matter. After trying the other local restaurants we'd go back here. Highly recommend

Great Food, friendly people! Everything was amazing!

This is a very good restaurant! We have been here several times for an after beach beer, they have good local craft beer, and now we have tried them for dinner. We were not disappointed. The food was very good and the service was even better. I recommend a visit, or two!

Fantastic food. The alcatra sandwich and steak pimento were 10/10. Portion size is incredible for the price. Food is so flavorful.

This place was unbelievable! Food is so deliciouse and prices are afordable aš well. For two meals, appetizer, cappuchino and two codas we paid 45 euro. Try to go aš early aš possible or do a reservation!

We had really delicious tuna steak and polvo from the grill. Not too expensive. Really friendly waiter (call me).

An amazing experience. The wait staff spoke perfect English. Was very attentive and courteous. Then the food came out... wow! I had the soup and the bruschetta to start with. Could have been my entire meal, however was amazing. Then the Portuguese steak for my main course. Unbelievable! The steak was cooked perfect and the flavor was amazing! I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Best service I've ever experienced!

I went here with my family. As a vegan I'm used to only being able to drink in restaurants in the Azores, but Thomas, the waiter who served us told me he understood and went into the kitchen to prepare me something himself. Not only was that so thoughtful, it was the best meal I've had in Portugal! Thomas also spoke excellent English and gave us great advice about how to spend our time on the island.
My family were also happy with their food. The restaurant was very reasonably priced for such a prime location.

A very good place to taste typical tapas of the Azores Islands. Highlight the octopus and especially the tuna. The staff is very attentive and friendly.
