Great local dining experience in a family setting restaurant. Small but varied food menu and a decent wine selections. The food is presented simply, but well prepared and seasoned. Very friendly and caring staff (family members) take care of floor and kitchen. Appropriately slow pace.

The food is incredible. The owner runs the restaurant and is very caring of his customers so the service is with a personal touch. The fish is very high quality, so expect to pay a price of similar value. Very recommended

Everything was excellent! We almost ate there a second time in a week. It was a bit pricier than all the other restaurants we tried but it was really good. Great flavors and food combinations. The new chef recently redesigned the menu. We got the catch of the day and the filet.

We had the best dinner of our entire Portugal trip at this place! The service was amazing and the seafood is so fresh and delicious!

Update , we went back a second night and had the restaurant favourite fish , it’s by far the best fish we have ever eaten. It tasted like eating a cloud made of butter and heaven !

This was our first choice for dining in Angra, during our stay here at the Zenite Boutique Hotel and Spa, and it was a darn good one! Its just a 5 minute stroll from there, and directly above the Marina. The wonderful aromas of fresh bread awaited us as we walked in to this very quaint, but quite inviting restaurant. A "farm to table" approach is what you'll read, but the flavors and freshness is what you'll taste. Our service was top notch, personal and attentive. Ask your server about the story of the "Captain" and how the place began! Not a large fish choice on the menu as it's catch of the day, and some customers were puzzled by this, but the limited choices can only mean freshness! Our neighboring diners were raving about their fish! Head and big staring eyes included...We had beef for dinner! Filet Mignon and Tenderloin aged 29 days. Again, ask your server about this, it's worth your time. Our meal came with fresh baked bread, cheese and olives, their delicious house red, and then for dessert, a de- constructed cream cheese cake! What a great meal, view, and vibe... the blues music over the bar speakers added a nice feel to the place! It was a great choice for us, and it can be for you too. Take the wonderful walk there from your own place, anywhere in the City Center region, enjoy the quaintness inside, the water outside, and the service!

Little restaurant overlooking the harbour that had five vegetarian/vegan choices. Marinated tofu was well cooked and definitely worth it. Strawberry mousse was a light and delicious dessert.

Azor gin was tasty and the server was friendly and helpful with the menu.

We managed a walk-in at 6.30pm but was busy by 7pm. Worth a visit for vegan/plant-based food when visiting Terciera, Azores.

A fantastic place run by a very friendly young couple. It has a great view of the waterfront and Mt. Brasil. The fish is fresh from the sea and tastes like it, I even went there twice!

Best food we had in Terceira. Fish choice from the catch of the day. Fresh from the sea. Host is very kind and explains about the dishes you choose. No hurry, all the time to enjoy the food.

Farm-to-table locally sourced ingredients made with love. I had a freshly caught and grilled to perfection amberjack. The sides (fresh salad, potatoes, beets and carrots) were equally delightful. The courses were paired with local wines. Cheese, sausage and dessert was also fantastic. I'm planning to come back to try the steak and other catch-of-the-day. The owner, chef, and staff were so gracious and fun. The ambiance was perfectly quaint and comfortable. Truly a hospitable and local experience, definitely a must when visiting Terceira!

The best place in Angra do Heroismo! This place is amazing, the staff is incredibly kind! I had the hummus and the "full falafel experience", it was a lovely dinner, everything was tasty and satisfying, and everything is served with lots of different vegetables and with an amazing salad. It's all home-made and made with love, if you are in Angra do Heroismo go there!

Really good food and friendly staff. It looks like they welcome LGBTIQ+ as well according to the little flag they have in the restaurant which is a big plus as well. We had a fish and the streak and it was really good.

Found this cozy little restaurant after our boat trip. Our group of 9 quickly seated by their friendly staff. We had the special which was delicious and only 6,50€, this included bread, lentil soup, veal and coffee. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious food at a bargain price.

If not the best, one of the best restaurants in Angra. For us it was definitely the best in Angra, only compared in terms of quality to "O Pescador" in Praia da Vitória. Young and enthusiastic owner, he gave us several explanations about the fish in the islands. We tried to come here a second time but there was a private event so we'll need to wait for the next trip to Azores. Only the dessert was not that convincing (ice-cream). However we had here for sure the very best tuna fish ever.

The food was awesome (also for my girlfriend who is vegetarian)!
The waiter and chef were both super friendly and they took their time to explain the dishes.
The crunchy pumpkin and burnt cream was really delicious. Try it!

Absolutely the best meal we had on the island. The kitschy atmosphere simply adds to the experience. The flavour combinations are impactful, and your taste buds are left utterly satisfied. Was so disappointed they were not open for lunch the very next day. You must try!
