Though that was nice… it did not influence the review! 🤣 The food was incredible and our service was fantastic. I asked for suggestions on our meal/dessert and we had a great meal because of their recommendations. Our server was awesome!
The Teriyaki Tuna was amazing and the ice cream is all homemade so you can’t go wrong. Definitely check the place out

We visited this gem on a Saturday a couple weeks ago. We walked in without reservations and they kindly found us a small table in the dining room where Sandra gave us the warmest welcome! The service was impeccable. The food was some of the best we had in our 2 weeks in the Azores. The atmosphere was celebratory and fun but still a bit upscale- perfect combo! Also had some incredible sangria. Every detail of this dinner was exquisite. We were lucky to sit close enough to watch the chef preparing dishes for guests, and it was a pleasure watching someone put so much effort and energy into the meals. All around a perfect dinner experience at a surprisingly affordable cost! Every member of the staff contributed to a team effort, and we will be back.

Had a wonderful leisurely lunch yesterday on a cruise ship stop. Food was fabulous as well as the service. Although it was mentioned elsewhere as a bit pricey, we didn’t find it at all out of line for the quality. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing!! The service was fast, friendly, high attentive and knowledgeable in helping what type of dishes to eat.

The food is phenomenal!!! Omg, I would highly recommend the fish of the day and have it grilled! As for the steak, pescador steak, perfectly cook with a light flavorful sauce it took the balance of the meat with the fries.

As for the dessert the chocolate is super filling and affordable!! The house pudding was delicious!!

Also, they were able yo seat us even though we didn’t have a reservation!!!

Great meal, good location, cute ambiance, excellent service!!! We had fried calamari, fish rice dish, garlic prawns, grilled veggies, salad, and flan and passion fruit pudding for dessert. Descent price - 122 euros with 2 bottles of wine. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Praia.

The steak on a stone was bussin . The service was great, top tier and they even had professional chef ‍ looking outfits that fit the atmosphere. I believe this is probably the best steak on the island and they must raise the cows and hug them every day cause that meat was tender af! Additionally, the wine choice was great and the servers knew exactly what wine we needed when we ordered our food. It was served beautifully and we even got a chance to taste it prior to drinking the bottle. 5 stars ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This place was amazing and so was the staff. Between lunch and a dessert, it was 40€ but the everything the staff recommended was great. I had the fish and sweet potato mash and I ate every bite of the sweet potatoes (and I normally won't touch them). Finished the meal with a brownie and Portuguese ice cream that was amazing. Spent almost 90 minutes in the restaurant as the food and atmosphere where amazing.

What an amazing restaurant. Stopped in and enjoyed the local quinine. Plenty of choices to chose from from fish, chicken to steak. Friendly staff and extremely clean place. Had bacon filet and it didn’t disappoint. Plenty of wine to chose from and the staff has great recommendations. Will be back and thank you.

I'm here for only a day visiting a friend and he informed me this was the best place in town. He was right! I had the scorpion fish. The waitress suggested it and said, "He's quite an angry fish, but a delicious one." She was very attentive and fun! I know we also had calamari and another appetiser I can't remember the name of. But I have pictures of it. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant!

Excellent experience at this beautiful restaurant. The staff were very caring, professional and nice. We also appreciated the fact that they were able to speak english. The food was excellent, authentic, fresh and well prepared.

The food was excellent, the service superb. The wine recommendations were the best we've had on this vacation. It took a while to get our food but it was well worth the wait.

We had a very tasty fish for two (550g) with a delicious sweet potato puree and vegetables. In addition, the waiter was very friendly. We went the next day again and had a delicious salad and gambas al olio. We definitely recommend going there. Thanks for having us.

High food quality in a cosy setting, sophisticated without being “fancy”. The food is fresh, delicious, varied and local. They also have a great wine selection. The staff is very friendly and speaks very good English. The one little stress point was that I found the service a little slow - though I was hungry and on a timing, so it’s even more subjective.

Tasty local ingredients proposed in multiple recipes that can't be tasted elsewhere. The portions are as generous as the staff, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

Most excellent dining. Waitress was super attentive, greatest service. Food delish at its peak. Our highlights: Shrimp and Squid Cataplana. Pingado coffee. Tuna Paté. Limpets. So much more to try.. very fresh. Boss also runs the "Make me nuts" place and its little beach ice cream stand by the same name. Just awesome. We will cherish it on our next visit again for sure! Very fancy place with a excellent service and fresh food! The price is not so cheap but when you try the food you will wish to pay more! It is a very cozy place and you can enjoy also a large menu of wines! I really recommend squid dish with prawns! So, if you are looking for a nice place to have a vey nice dinner or lunch, I strongly recommend “O Pescador”!

Wow! Incredibly tasty! The staff os extremely nice!!!! Don’t miss it! It’s surely the beat place to eat here!!! Marisa is so so nice! She does everything to please and is very genuine!!
