Great fresh seafood and fish, nice setting and atmosphere. Fantastic service. Best tiger prawns ever in Europe (Bye bye Singapore standard). Perceres were the best for long time and Durada was grilled to perfection.

This is a really popular place and for good reason. Food was really, really good. The bread and small plates at the beginning were delicious, especially the anchovies.
Then we had the giant prawns: amazing with just the right amount of garlic butter. 1 each was enough.
Second plate was a big dourada that was easily enough for 2. Perfectly prepared, Succulent.
Price was very reasonable given the quality.

Sensational meal - one of the best we had in Portugal. Totally unexpected in this cute little village. If you're in the area then certainly stop by. The seafood was incredible. And the homemade desserts were just wild.

Easily the best food we had on our entire trip. The restaurant offers an amazing choice of fresh fish and seafood and the food quality was excellent. Be sure to try the amazing deserts as well! 5 stars, we will definitely come again. The service was very friendly and helpful.

Since they don’t take reservations, we rushed there after watching the sunset at Cabo de San Vincente (8:45 PM). The place was full, but our name got noted and we waited around 20 mins for a table inside. The fresh seafood of the day is presented in a glass display. We ordered the clams, prawns, razor clams, tiger prawns and the mushrooms. For drinks they serve a good local craft beer (Vicentina) and a very tasty vinho verde (lightly sparkly!) per jug (12 euros for 1 liter). The seafood was everything we hoped for and more; juicy, fresh, with lots of olive oil, garlic and heaps of coriander. Fingerlicking good!! Service was kind and patient, they gave us good advice on what to order and portions. Prices are fair for the quality of the food. 10/10 would recommend!

I got the name of this restaurant from my hostel's host in Arrifana, during my backpacking along the Fisherman's Trail.
It was a great recommendation, because I found a very nice restaurant, well decorated and with familiar atmosphere, with great food, too.
Although they serve meat dishes and pizza, the best of the kitchen is for fish, any kind, especially matched with locale White fresh and salty wine.
The Grilled Octopus I had was superb and the price was absolutely honest. I appreciated the service, too.
Recommended ti anyone stopping in Vila Do Bispo.

This place served the best seafood meal and literally the BEST meal in our entire Portugal trip , you should not miss it and make sure this is on your must go check list.

It’s not far away from the Cabo de Sao Vincente, so what I recommend you to do is either you visit the restaurant for dinner and then go to the end of the world for sunset viewing (the time we visited on June, the sunset was around 9pm, please check the weather app on your phone for the timing). Alternatively, you can visit the Cabo de Sao Vincente first during the day and then drive here for dinner. Plenty of parking space around here also.

Now let’s talk about why the food here is sooooo good, the secret is the fresh ingredients , you can see they put a fish tank outside the restaurant.
And then the chef here is not just another copy cat of traditional Portuguese cuisine, they added their own magic twist to the dishes.
A MUST order is Monk Fish with Rice, the fish , prawn and other seafood are so fresh, they also use fresh tomato to cook the fish, and most importantly, the chef garnish the soup with cilantro!!!!
This is not a ingredient you can get from a soup in Europe, you guys have no idea how much we Chinese appreciate cilantro, it just simply sprinkles the magic to any dish to the next level of mind blowing taste.
Trust me, seafood rice in every other place will become so ordinary after you have a taste of their version here with a perfect combination of seafood, seasoning , soup and cilantro of course !!!
Every other dish are also very impressive, piri piri is an instagram worthy dish as they bring the fire to the table !!!

We are very satisfied with the food, service and reasonable price of the restaurant and we as a group of four unanimously voted here as no. 1 restaurant, that is how much we loved here

Great place, food was amazing and that should be enough. Cozy place, nothing fancy, very polite service and price very fair. We had two appetizers (bread butter and anchovies, octopus salad), three main dishes of wonderful fish, three desserts, 2 bottles of water and one bottle of wine, everything for 92.40€. I really suggest it; it’s better to make a reservation, especially during summer, since they’re always full with people waiting outside.

The food was delicious , giagantic portions but you get what you pay for. The food came fast and the service was also good. I ordered a chicken curry and I got a huge pot enough for 3 people but it was only meant for one.
You can eat inside or outside.

Very popular restaurant in the lovely town of Ville de Bispo,in the southwestern corner of Portugal.
Lovely atmosphere, lots of locals. Friendly helpful staff. Food was fantastic. We had piri piri prawns, brought to table flambé, barnacles, mussels in garlic and lemon, and octopus salad with oil vinegar and parsley. All superb. Great selection of cake too

Goose barnacles are elite! Service on point with friendly wait staff. Enjoyed a tasty monkfish stew with rice and prawns, large serve for two. Big 👍👍

Amazing! Extremely nice staff!!!! I was super impressed because in the area I have found very rude waiters. Amazing food! We had Perceves, Moreia, Peixe galo. I’ll be back when possible. It’s in a quite neighbourhood of Vila do Bispo.

Ah, life in a surfer village made easy. This is a super relaxed place, but without compromising quality.

There is a display overflowing with fresh fish you are going to eat, and there is a display with all the desserts where your foody path tonight will end. The orange juice is freshly made, not fake like in so many places. Surfer dudes hang out and the waiters joke with them. The air is salty, the night is smooth. You wish every day could end like this.

Really delicious fish, the staff were really nice and helpful. Its a really cosy place to visit and I do recommend eating here if you're baiting this small village. We stayed in Lagos and made it here because someone recommended it to us. It was worth the trip.

One of the best meals I've had in Portugal. The goose barnacles and Piri-piri shrimp were both incredible.
