Wonderful to be welcomed with a warm log burner. Very festive, great service and excellent cuisine with a difference which was very refreshing. Highly recommend and I will definitely be going back.

Very, very good food. Menu has a great variety to choose from. We had two appetizers, two main courses and two desserts. All courses where outstanding. Well seasoned and properly cooked. Service was also great. Heads up to the kitchen crew. That was a fantastic dinner.

Just perfect! From the simple but beautiful ambience, to the perfectly-prepared food and the attentive and professional service, this is a great place for a Portuguese meal with a sophisticated spin.

And the fact that is in the picturesque Alvor makes it even better, highly recommended!

Great experience from the moment we crossed the restaurant. Is as good inside as it looks outside. The food I would say, is even better. Great staff, great service and even with kids it was an amazing evening. A plus, the dishes are traditional with a twist. Really recomend

We had an amazing evening here a couple weeks ago. There were loads of gluten free choices! The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, and everything we ordered was delicious and presented beautifully and timely. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic. We’ll return soon for our next date night.

Excellent food and superb service! This was a fantastic choice, we decided to eat outside and really enjoyed it. The menu is very diverse and the food was delicious. We got the Monk Fish and the Tuna Steak, both were excellent. We also got the brownie for dessert and would recommend this to anyone. For ingredients, diversity of menu, and overall enjoyment of the meal, service and atmosphere, I highly recommend this restaurant!

Stumbled across this restaurant by chance really. We walked past all the restaurants down by the water which all seem to sell the same thing. I chose the chef’s recommendation which was monkfish cooked in almonds which made it slightly crunchy but delicious. But this also came with a mango kind of jus, totally amazing! Best meal I’ve had on the algarve this time around.

The place is so beautiful with friendly staff. The dishes were big and very well presented. The food was absolutely delicious. You can have vegan food. My boyfriend is not vegan but he was also tempted by the vegan dishes so he ordered vegan. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

Visiting Alvor at a quiet time of the year. I had read the reviews and decided to try this restaurant. It’s beautifully decorated in an unusual way and has a lovely wood burner crackling away to take off the December chill.

We ordered the crispy chicken with quinoa risotto and the duck with risotto. Both meals presented very well.

The meals were fantastic and quite different to anything else we have had before. If I was staying longer in Alvor I would be definitely returning.

Excellent food, very good staff and service, and lovely surroundings. Highly recommend. We had lunch there and we had octopus and monkfish.

Lusitania had great ambience. The vibe and food were lovely. The decor feels enchanted. Now let's get to the food. You have to try the octopus bruschetta, easily the best I've ever had. The prawns from both dishes were fresh and delicious. You'll leave here feeling good and full.

We ate at this restaraunt for the first time today. We liked the look of it and the menu was interesting. I had the monkfish kebab, and the fruit crumble, my other half had the couvert and monkfisk in almonds with risotto. All of our food was superb. The servers were very nice, and we enjoyed our experience. The quality certainly justified the price. We will be eating there again for sure, and will recommend to our friends in Lagos. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Great food, a welcome refuge from the sun and busy bars. The service here was great, really helpful staff. The kids meal was massive but lovely.

We were passing by and the restaurant is so charming that it stands out, we immediately headed inside because we didn’t just want good food we also wanted an experience.
I ordered the Portugiese style steak and the restaurant’s fusion theme made it outstanding. The sauce was amazing and I recommend it medium-rare. It was exceptional.
My wife ordered salmon and she labeled it the best grilled salmon she has ever had. Now that’s really something.
The waiter is a thorough professional, he recommended the wines that paired beautifully with our dishes because we all know how dreadfully potent a matrimony of meat and a wrong wine can be.
They went out of the way to make us non-alcoholic beverages on our request.
Overall, it was an experience we would go back for. And before I forget, it won’t break your bank. 😊

What's not to like about Lusitania!? Fabulous vibe, the staff and service on point! Food, amazing, creative, inspiring, fun, delicious; as a vegetarian I was amazed at the choice I had, but also the creativity of the dishes it totally matched the creative nature of the fish and other dishes.. please if you are in Alvor and looking to go out for a meal, don't think twice get yourself to Lucitania!! Wish we had more time in Alvor, as we would definitely be back - don't miss out!!

A really lovely location, right in the center of town and very close to the fishing port. Really creative and interesting menu, not your usual tourist fare (such as burgers and pizzas) but fine tasting food using local, organic produce. I really enjoyed the ceviche and the squid. The service was also excellent with very friendly and helpful staff.
I was surprised at how reasonably priced everything was as well.
We will definitely go back there in the future !!
