Gorgeous scenery, plenty of routes up and down the cliffs for all abilities, and a great beach bar next to it. There’s been a storm the day before we went which meant the sea washed up a load of debris - led to believe it is usually quite clean though. Gutted we only made it here on the last day of our stay - would be back every day if I could!

Beautiful beach and perfect for long beach walks, picnics, or even photography.
I think that this beach has some of the nicest spots to watch the sunset , enjoy nature, and calm down after a long day of hard work.

I would highly recommend visiting this place when you're in Alvor or planning to visit.

An absolute paradise! Spent an entire day at Praia dos Três Irmãos, and it was nothing short of breathtaking.

The pristine cleanliness of the beach coupled with its secluded atmosphere made it feel like a private slice of heaven. The opportunity to explore the adjacent coves only added to the adventure, while sipping a refreshing sangria from the nearby beach bar in the warm sun felt like a true bucket-list moment. Highly recommend this spot for anyone seeking a tranquil, unforgettable beach experience.

Praia dos Três Irmãos, also known as Three Brothers Beach in Alvor, shares the same stretch of sand as Praia de Alvor. However, it distinguishes itself with enchanting rock formations located on the eastern end, creating a landscape that feels like a different world. Jagged sea stacks, mysterious caves, and arches sculpted from rock define this beach, inviting exploration and adventure.

Witnessing this unique paradise is truly an unparalleled experience!

Lovely beach with some great little beachside restaurants!
O'Candeeiro is my favourite, always a friendly welcome for both me & my dog Jack! 🐕
Large free of charge car park! 👍😁

One of the most amazing beaches in the world. Gorgeous rock formations, golden sand, blue waters, calm waves. Small caves to explore.

Lovely, clean beach with stunning cliffs.
Fine sand, refreshingly cold water, specific to Portugal (that's the Atlantic for you), so don't expect to see as many people in the water as in the Balearics (which may be good, at times).
Plenty restaurants around to get a cup of coffee or the more expensive, 'fish of the day'.
The beach looks a lot different when the tide is low, when you can access a lot more places and have plenty more beach than when the tide is high.
If you dare to follow the small, narrow paths above the cliffs, there are many places to take vibrant panoramic pictures from above.

Beautiful Portuguese beach with stunning red sandstone cliffs and mesmerising turquoise to blue sea. Bar / cafe and toilets. Quite a lot of steps down to (and then back up) the beach. Gets quite crowded at peak times.

Beautiful beach. Sunbeds are available for 15 Euros. There are places to eat close to the beach as well.

Great beach, kids had fun exploring the caves and collecting shells. A couple of cafe's on the beach too if you need food or drink.

Extremely nice beach, went on a Saturday and didn't go to the beach but went to the top of the rocks, absolutely incredible view, the rocky terrain makes it look amazing and the water hitting the beach is just incredible. Could see like a lot of alvor, absolutely amazing.

An absolutely amazing beach! You have to keep walking left past the beach to get to the caves.

Spent a wonderful afternoon at this beach. Loved walking among the rock formations, and then sitting in the sun playing my ukulele. Couldn't have asked for a better peaceful, sunny day in January.

Best beach in Europe? I think so! That is why it might be busy at times

Beautiful area. Some erosion now means limited access to beach in some parts but really scenic.

This is a beautiful beach. I particularly like those rocks and caves. The water is warm and the tides are low. A lovely place.

This has got to be one of my favorite beaches in the Algarve.
It is tucked away and in order to find it you'll need to explore a little. Try to arrive when the tide is low. We came at sunrise and walked through a cave that was filled with sea weed that passed our ankles.

This is my favorite beach in the Algarve so far. I haven't been to all of them but enough to say this is at the top. There are so many caves and tunnels to explore. The beaches are sandy and swimmable. There are lots of large rock formations providing shade. Unlike most beautiful beaches with rocky formations, you do not have to walk down a large amount of steps. You simply walk off the boardwalk and you are there. You can pay 2€ to park right at the start of the boardwalk, or you can park for free on the street and walk about 5 minutes to the beach. I counted at least four restaurants. One is built into the side of the cliffs. I highly recommend checking this beach out if you visit the Algarve.
