Passadiços de Alvor

Great trails that go from the town to the beach. The super long beach was a great surprise at the end of the trails, very nice to go for a stroll or a bike ride.

Lovely little stroll across the coastline of Alvor.
It was a hot day when I was there and thankfully there are a few stop points in the shade to relax. The views from this area are excellent and you can go from the port to the beach which was perfect for what I wanted.

Nice walk starting near the fishermen huts. We walked to the end and back along the ocean. About 5 km.
There is also a path where strollers or walkers can go and enjoy these beautiful dunes and nature.

A really good walk around the river and beach area. Go all the way to the end to see a great sunset over Lagos.

Boardwalk caters for walkers, runners and cyclist's (gravel track). We walked 4km around this area.

This is a great walk, but put up more signs to remind people not to let dogs foul. In my view, dogs should be on a lead at all times, and bicycles should be banned.

Fab exercise between meals, walk, scoot or cycle as you wish. Great amenity for young and old.

Lucky to be here on 19th February, no wind, sun setting, birds flying to roost. Beautiful view of Alvor warmed by the falling light.

What a lovely spot, went to see birds but also a great walk and well laid out boardwalk and paths.

Lovely boardwalk along the coast of Alvor. Stretches from the Beach of the 3 Brothers across to the wetlands and towards the harbour. Pleasant breezy walk. Lots of people walking their dogs. Would recommend if you like a little scenic walk.

Absolutely wonderful, long, taken care of wooden/raised boardwalk along dunes. Enjoy the views and stop for a rest in one of pergolas. In the end one can reach the long and beautiful sand beach, which is much less crowded than in front of the main entrance.

We went in quiet season so although some of the restaurants and shops weren't open, it was still a lovely walk. There were great views and easy to access the beach. Plenty of free parking in the car park.

Really nice easy walk. Far more interesting at the Eastern end this you like birdwatching go to the western end. We were there in January and not many places open and no toilets at all which is surprising as quite a few people were on the boardwalk.

A lovely place to walk across the dunes at Alvor. Access to beach and estury. Cafe and bike hire near start of boardwalk near to the marina.

Long promenade along the praia de Alvor and the river. Good for walking, biking, walking with the dogs, and bird watching

A bit warm yesterday for more than a gentle stroll along the boardwalk with a refreshing drink at Restinga beach restaurant. We saw a Hoopoe which we haven't seen before so that added to the enjoyment.

Go here for a lovely walk on the board walk. The scenery is beautiful.
