Our favorite restaurant in the Algarve. You can’t go wrong ordering any item from the menu. Consistently amazing food and extraordinary service!

A restaurant for locals and visitors great food fish soup was excellent! Black pig speciality crispy and delicious ! We thought very it was reasonably priced. I had a lovely Dao red wine. plenty of parking and nice sitting areas outside.

This is a lovely family restaurant, good atmosphere, the food was delicious and fresh and generous! Extremely generous prices and the family members working there do their best to ensure everything is just right for you! loved it, want to go back soon!!!

We have driven past this place so many times, then last week we decided to go there for my wife's Birthday this week.
What a good decision, the food was good. The fish soup is the best we have had.
The place is so good we went there again with a neighbour once again good food.
The inside of the main restaurant is amazing filled with antique curios.
Victoria who served us on both days is amazing, speaking Portuguese, German, French and perfect English. She is a star.
I cannot work out why this place is not busier, it is a gem

This restaurant has the greatest food in the Algarve! Friendly people but you have to take your time. Compliments for the cook(s). We have eaten here for the last 4 years when we are here on holiday. Super good!

Very friendly people and staff, great food and good prices. The ambiance was great and the restaurant was clean and cosy.

During a big thunderstorm we lost power two times but that made things even more fun.

We were with a group of 8, the food came fast and we were asked plenty of times (but not too much) if we were good on drinks and we were ok with the side dishes (like olives and bread).

My girlfriend had a dessert she didn’t know what it was (dolce la casa, sweet of the house). The waitress stood and waited till she had her first bite and wanted to know if it was allright for her.

We had a wonderful time at Fonte da Pedra.

Little side note: the menus are in English and the staff speaks and understand English.

A regular of here due to living close by. Family restaurant with a laid back atmosphere and wonderful food.

Another great visit to see Carlos and enjoy the food as always excellent value for money and the host Carlos great dude.Go have a meal and a beer very close to Alvor. The Bar and Restaurant closed Wednesday and Thursday during the day but open in the evening.

We arrived at 8pm on Monday and had a delightful 3 course dinner with wine for a very reasonable price. I had melon and presunto (ham) and hubby had garlic prawns. Followed by pork medallions with fig sauce for me served with vegetables and chips. It was gorgeous. Shaun had black pork with garlic and coriander served with rice and vegetables, delicious. The vegetables were beautifully fresh and cooked to perfection, often not achieved. To finish I had the doce de casa, coffee flavoured dessert. The house white wine was crisp and fresh, perfect on a hot evening. So we will definitely go again as there was more on that enticing menu that we want to eat. 😁

Amazing hidden little local resto.
The burgers are particularly nice, as they don't hold back on the size and the staff are extremely friendly.
Be prepared to be loved by the owners very much friendly cats and dogs.

Great food, great prices, excellent service. Will definitely return on my next trip.

We have been coming to this restaurant nearly every summer for more than 15 years and are never dissapointed by the beautifully cooked food, reasonable prices and warm welcome from Carlos, Victoria and staff.
Hope to continue visiting for the next 15 years

Everything was fantastic! We enjoyed a perfect meal and evening with our friends.

Lovely spot, great atmosphere, friendly owners and great food. The costeletas de borrego (lamb chops) were particularly delicious.
