A perfect rural restaurant - food always very good and excellent service. Increasingly popular - so probably wise to make a reservation over weekends and peak holiday periods

Didn't plan to come to this restaurant specifically but saw it along the road and decided to have lunch here. Great decision - the main dish (fish) was very well cooked and seasoned, the staff were friendly, and prices very reasonable, especially if you get amigos lunch. If we weren't leaving Portugal tomorrow, we would be back!

I've been coming to this restaurant for almost 19 years. What never changes are the wonderful female staff, who are so accommodating...nothing is too much trouble and I ve never had a bad meal. Food is also very reasonably priced.

A little drive out for us but was a nice change of scenery.

Staff were fantastic, very friendly.

We came here for Javili (wild boar stew) which was amazing.
We also had the lamb stew and some piri piri both were very good. The chicken was very garlicky (which we loved!)

Come for lunch and waste the afternoon drinking wine and staring at the stunning Landscape. Can’t wait to come back.

Not much to look at front outside but food is lovely staff are lovely and most importantly great prices.

A super Portuguese restaurant if a little hidden! Worth finding either for lunch or dinner (we've done both). Lunch specials are €7.50-€8.50 and are full Prato do dia menus with dessert & coffee etc. Dinner specials range from €9 to €15 and a meio-jarro of house wine is €4. We had covers (including fresh cheese and home made Pate/garlic butter), main course, coffee, a couple of large beers and a couple of 7-ups for €35.
Good food, good service in a friendly Portuguese traditional restaurant. Try it out if you are in the Rasmalho/Monchique Area.

Food was great and staff lovely. €10 for couvert, prato do dia, sobremesa, 1/2 ltr wine and coffee. Can't beat it!
