Adega Açoriana - Tapas & Wine House

Great wine and food. Essentially a cat cafe. Lots of friendly cats around the outside tables that come up wanting petting and cheese. Very cool place with great views and cats.

The first and last dinner in Pico Island. Adega Açoreana has the best lapas in all island. But for starters try also the murcela almôndegas with cream cheese and pepper sweet, an albacora pica-pau and finish with a albacora bifana, and a pica-pau meat. Try the Kima passion fruit juice and a bottle of Pico's white wine of Atlantis Seleção. And finish with a passion fruit cheesecake. The staff is very nice and helpful. Thanks to Ildeberta and the chef Humberta, two sisters that welcome us with a lovely meal in a beautiful place in front of the sea. ❤

Tonight there was a red flag warning due to a tropical storm. Nevertheless the restaurant stayed opened just for our reservation. Food was good. Thank you very much for this evening.

This place exceeded our expectations. Excellent food and a great wine selection for a very reasonable price. The service was excellent too. We had the shrimp and the crab cake sandwich. We highly enjoyed it.

Love this little place, have been coming here everyday on our 4 day stay in Pico. It’s right by the great rock pool and serves lovely food , we enjoyed shrimp, crab burgers, clams, salads and tapas! Really friendly staff too.

We were wandering around the island and came here by accident. Oh well, it was a good surprise just by the sea. The “salada de pota” was really good and we also enjoyed the “pica pau”

My accommodation is next to this business, we were ready to prepare our dinner ehen we realised we didn't have oil salt and pepper, i tried my luck at this place and they couldn't be more helpful!!! Thanks :)

Have been here in my first day in Pico and it was a wonderful surprise, the staff were very pleasant, the food was great and the promenade had a great view.
