Mother Church of Vila do Bispo (Our Lady of Conception)

Mostly closed, while the interior is what makes this a worthwhile visit. Since just off the main road between Sagres and Lagos worth to check if it is open.

die Kirche ist leider meist geschlossen, aber am Sonntag stand die Eingangstür während der Messe offen und man konnte von außen einen Blick in das wunderschöne innere werfen

Eine optisch -wie die meisten hier- unscheinbare Kirche in Vila do Bispo. Leider ist sie fast immer geschlossen. Das fällt uns hier in Portugal immer wieder auf! Warum nur? Die Kirche ist innen etwas ganz besonderes. Herrliche Azelejos schmücken die Wände und geben ihr damit einen faszinierenden Glanz. Glück hat derjenige, wenn er sie einmal geöffnet anfindet!

He estado en otras ocasiones en Vila do Bispo, y nunca antes había tenido la oportunidad de conocer la iglesia en su interior . Hace unos días, en la tarde, se encontraba abierta. ,y la visité. No te imaginas lo que te encuentras una vez atravesar la puerta!!! Una sola nave con dos capillas laterales y un altar ,todo cubierto de azulejos, el techo de madera totalmente cubierto de pinturas y tanto el altar como las capillas en estilo barroco una maravilla!!!Construida en el siglo XVIII. No hay que perdérsela. Un grupo de parroqianas se encarga de ello.

Bella originale fuori dai canoni classici , interessante il soffitto in legno dipinto.
Belli gli azuleios , interessanti i lampadari e gli altari in legno.
Tutta da vedere con calma e apprezzare nei dettagli.
Bello anche l'esterno.

Igreja pequena mas acolhedora é bonita. Tem ótima vista também dada a sua localização!
