O Farrobo

Stayed for a week while scuba diving and the accommodation was perfect for my needs, but the best bit about this place is the restaurant. The food and service is outstanding, always served with a smile making you feel right at home. I will definitely be back for another steak.

Our flight was canceled and they took us in last minute. They even made us dinner even though the kitchen was long closed. The owners are wonderfully genuine and really care to make your stay as good as it can be. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Thank you for everything!

Wonderful family owned restaurant off the beaten path! Best tuna steak and beef steak we’ve had so far in the Azores! Even the simple food like salad and potatoes were fresh and amazingly delicious! Very nice owner who made us feel very welcomed.

Incredible hospitality! We loved our stay at O Farrobo. Both hosts were pleasant and so accommodating. Breakfast was amazing - fresh baked breads daily! Perfect home base for our climb up Mt. Pico and exploring the island. Clean, quiet, peaceful, simple accommodations.

What a wonderful find!!!! A local friend recommend that we visit for lunch. Obviously this is the off-season so we were not sure if they would even be open and what they would have available. We had a wonderful sample of their meats with excellent potatoes and salad served on the side. Beautiful location and Miguel and his wife were very friendly! Can't wait to return next week and on a regular basis.

This is easily the best accomodation I've ever been in. Sea views, right below the mountain, lovely hosts, amazing restaurant. I wouldn't mind going there just to spend time relaxing here.

The best resturant on Pico for sure. We had the famous tomahawk rib steak which lives up to its expectations. Also serves a good aelection of craft beers. Really enjoyed our visit...Thank You

Simply incredible! I could live here for ever. The owners - young couple with small kids - are extremely helpful, food (the price includes breakfest) is delicious and the cozy lavastone bungalows have A/C and heat unit each (comes handy offseason). Drop all you do right now, jump the plane and come to experience it by yourself!

Very nice place to stay, peaceful and calm environment. Lovely family owning the place. We will come back to climb Mont Pico !!!

This is a great, understated restaurant in a nice, wooden location. Both meat and fish were excepcional and the service was impressive in its kindness and professionalism.

Hôtes très serviables, chaleureux et bienveillants, notre hôte nous a accompagnés à Madalena et nous a conseillés pour la location d'une voiture.
Les appartements, très confortables et agréables à vivre, sont dans un hameau situé en pleine nature, sur une petite route sinueuse encadrée de murets en pierre de basalte. Les constructions sont également des rénovations en basalte.
Le petit déjeuner sort de l'ordinaire avec salade de fruit frais.
Il y a également un restaurant de très bonne qualité, nous avons apprécié l'assortiment de viandes grillées. Félicitations au chef !

Molto molto consigliato, semplice e accogliente. Rustico ma semlice ed essenziale, pratico, eccezionale. Nella struttura è presente anche un ristorante con pochi coperti ma che garantisce qualità incredibile, la migliore carne che abbia mai mangiato. Tutto fresco e cotto alla perfezione. Pochi piatti ma cucinati con tanta sapienza e passione palpabile. Siamo veramente a bocca aperta da quanto si spenda poco per del cibo di così alta qualità.
Ad accompagnare le nostre due cene c'è la presenza del gatto di casa che strappa più di un sorriso tra i tavoli, adorabile.
