I visited 5 islands in the Azores and this is one of the best place for eat local food, imho!
Quality price ratio is superb.
I recommend lapas grellhadas, tuna regional, camarao (as starter), and a glass of local wine.

Delicious, bargain price, with friendly service. The grilled squid was cooked perfectly not chewy in the slightest. Hamburger really good quality.

Great food, good prices, lovely staff. Simply charming under a rubber tree shaded back yard.

There is an outdoor place in the back that is quiet, relaxing and has a great atmosphere. The food was good and amazing service.

Very cosy and nice spot to eat out. It's a mix of fast food and local cuisine. Owner is very very nice and friendly. Service was fast and huge outdoor area in the back to seat.

Not much from the front but go inside and through to the back garden and the new manager will look after you! We had good wine recommendations and yummy steak with sides, all delicious and good prices. Highly recommend - we hope to come back!

It looks like a hole in the wall kind of place from the main street, but at the back there's a very nice outside sitting area under the trees. Very good food options, what we had (the platter for two) tasted great, and the price is also right. You can also park your car at the back.

Checked this place out during my vacation and food was delicious. Service and environment was was friendly.

Great find for lunch. Had a small all-you-can eat food bar. Chicken, cod (bakalah with potatoes) rice, tuna, cheese, bread and french fries, salad (best on the island) and soup....8€. oh yes, that included 1 wine (500 ml) and 1 beer and coffee. Unfortunately leaving tomorrow but this was a good lunch. To boot, service was great!!!!

I started almost every morning by having a Tosta Mista and coffee at Aco. Then I always waitedfor the afternoon buffet starting a 12:00 noon.
Now it gets better, the variety of food, the quality and the service combined with an awesome bottle of Pico red wine. I was in heaven.
The food was prepared by two women in the back Kitchen that takes care to bring you authentic Portuguese cuisine just like my mother made. The only problem I had with this place is "I can not stop eating".
Thankyou for taking the extra care, I will be back again.
