Quinta do Milhafre

The Quinta do Milhafre is a lovingly landscaped holiday complex with 4 houses. The whole, expansive property is well-maintained and very quiet with no traffic, wonderful to relax during daytime and sleep in the night.
Iris is the smallest but the newest house. A modern furnished but cozy little cottage for 2 people with great views (garden, ocean and the neighbour island São Jorge). The house was just finished Oct 2017 when we moved in and we fell in love with it. We had a nice and friendly welcome by the landlord family with a dog and cats. Wonderful to watch the sunrise over the sea even from the bed. Or having breakfast on the terrace with a view in the beautiful garden with typical plants, flowers and trees of the Azores. Or looking in the starry sky... The house has a modern bathroom, well equipped kitchen, really, good beds and a TV. Photos and description correspond to the reality. WLAN access only in the large, well-equipped library (lounge).

There is a little supermarket and restaurant at Piedade but a rental car is recommendedto see the island Pico.
We would go back anytime and highly recommended a stay at Quinta do Milhafre.

Espaço de turismo em espaço rural, composto por várias moradias independentes, suficientemente equipadas e em muito bom estado de conservação e limpeza.
Zona envolvente agradável, com espaços complementares (receção com mesa de snooker e biblioteca, churrasqueira, parque infantil...) e óptimas vistas.
Enquadramento em área de natureza, densamente arborizada e com diversa avifauna.
