I don't recall reviewing any business with a 1 star, and in this case I wished I could rate 0.
I totally understand there are terms and conditions related to all purchases, however, as a business person myself, I do also believe in reasonable exceptions.

My partner gifted me a pair of trainers I didn't particularly appreciate and also the size was too big for me.
Unfortunately my mother was diagnosed with cancer and due to that, I was totally unable to exchange them in due course.

We tried by all means to make staff understand this, and after loads of phone calls, back and forth to the store, being refused to discuss any alternatives from inflexible management that refused to take all phone calls, I was left with a pair of trainers I shall never use all because they refused to meet me half way.

I was willing to spend more on any other item. Instead, they rather loose for good a customer and whole family who has spent a lot of money at this store, all due to the most poor customer service ever experienced.

It's important to refer this purchase was made exactly a month prior to my attempt to exchange.

With this said, I do not recommend this store at all and I will be complaining directly to Vans International.
