The food was good and very decently priced, nothing too fancy but that's all right. The cheese dip for the nachos was actually on of the best dips I've had in a long time.

Friendly service and great food (and fresh tasty bread!) right near the ocean. The chef is able to prepare meals for vegetarians and vegans which are not detailed in the menu and can be customized!
We enjoyed the warmth inside in a cold windy winter day.

I really don’t understand why this restaurant isn’t rated a lot higher. My wife and I went there for dinner last night and it was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. We were the only people there (which shocked us) and the food was excellent. My wife had a salad to start and it was so fresh. I started with lapas and they were delicious. My wife then had fried cod and I had the fish of the day (mackerel) and both meals were excellent. I am originally from a fishing community in Newfoundland, Canada and I know what good fish tastes like. The owner (also the cook and the server) suggested a 9 Euro bottle of wine from Pico and it was perfect. The owner also speaks perfect English. The homemade dessert went perfectly with the port. Before leaving, the owner gave us tips in what to do during the remainder of our visit. How could I not give this experience a 5 out of 5. This restaurant should be packed every evening!

This was the stop for food after having a dip in the pools. Friendly staff, and good food. A glass of small wine was actually massive! The garlic bread was crunchy..not sure if that's good or bad! Was a friendly place and we stayed till after the kitchen was closed without being pushed to leave. Service slow, but I found this to be the case everywhere on the island.

Really lovely little local eaterie close to a brilliant beach area. It's pretty traditional in its decor (has the feel of an old fisherman's bar/pub) but the service was fantastic in spite of staff running round at a million miles per hour. My husband had the ribs and professed them to be the best ribs that he has ever eaten. It's worthwhile booking in advance to guarantee a table on your arrival during tourist season.

It was a busy Sunday, but we still got excellent service! I had a really good fish sandwich - on a fresh hard roll with lettuce, onions and tarter sauce. It was a great price and I would recommend it.

Totally agree with the previous review, this restaurant deserves a much higher rate! All was good - simple but tasty food, good portions, reasonable price and a service! And the view is just great :).

We had a great meal alongside an amazing view of the coast. Alba is incredibly nice and cooks very well - there are even some vegetarian meals to enjoy. Would definitely recommend stopping by!

Great place for lunch and dinner. Food is fresh has a home made taste. The owner Alda is very friendly and down to earth. This is a place you must visit if you are in the island!! Try her own made drink specials also!!!!

This place is really great, service and food is all fantastic, the prices are really reasonable if your on a budget but I would paid more if I had too. Dont let the outside deceive you.
