The most incredible cakes I ever tried - and I tried a lot of them in my life! Delicious, just right balance between ingredients , not too sweet, all flavors well mixed.
The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Amazing place!

My favorite place to have breakfast... with a very beautiful view, also. I recommend the queijada (with passion fruit especially) and some kind of small cake made of rice whose name I don't remember. A guy who works here gives very good tips if you're not sure about what to get!

Loved this coffee shop, lots of varieties of sweets and good service <3 also that croissant was delightful (and the coffee, forgot to take a pic of the coffee)

We were looking for breakfast and found this lovely restaurant. The servers were cheerful and full of humor. The café Americano was delicious, and the egg & bacon sandwich was tasty. All was very affordable. Sit outside on the warm days for the best atmosphere. They have shaded seating, and the sea breeze is wonderful!

Delicious coffee and desserts. The lady working behind the counter was friendly and helpful, packing up a couple of desserts to go for us.

Very pleasant seating and atmosphere for breakfast, the service was excellent. The food was fabulous fresh ingredients, several types of homemade cakes..we tried on recommendation homemade Funchal cake which was delicious and I can only recommend it.

Stopped here on our last day to try some custard tarts before leaving Madeira and I’m so glad we did, but wish we went sooner! we got the last two tarts available - chocolate and passion fruit. They were delicious. Also got the passion fruit poncha, really tasty. The staff member was brilliant, so friendly and welcoming and lots of energy. Very good value for the quality

A really nice cafe and bakery with some outdoor seating on the opposite side of the road. We found all the food fresh and tasty at a reasonable price and the English speaking staff were helpful and cheerful. The Madeira cake was superb, but the other cakes and savouries were good too.

Just popped in to ask about gluten free cakes so that we can visit for morning coffee tomorrow. There were around five different choices! And the lovely guy who served us was so knowledgeable about gluten intolerance, coeliac/celiac and lactose intolerance. We stayed for ice cream! There's also sorbet available for lactose intolerant customers 🥰 We visited again the following morning for GF Banana and walnut cake with our morning latte and again in the evening for the creamiest ice cream ever!

The best bakery/coffee shop in the area. Best place to have good coffee and dessert. Everyone can find something for themselves. Cakes, ice creams, cocktails, and they are serving breakfast. Small but lovely terrace. I loved that place from first to see. It's open from early morning hours to late hours.

Delicious lunch here at a really reasonable price. We had a tuna salad, bacon and egg sandwich and omelette sandwich, 3 large beers and 3 pastel de natas for roughly €11 each. Also bought bread and pastries here one day before a walk. Delicious food and really nice staff, a no brainer if you’re nearby! Also they have seating on the other side of the road which is much nicer than the restaurants on the adjacent street

Super tasty breakfasts. You can have sandwiches with great freshly baked bread, scrambled eggs with bacon and sausages, fresh orange juice. Huge variety of desserts but come earlier as the best ones are bought before 2-3pm. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

We visited this small bakery / cafe several times when we stayed in Madeira 2022. Really nice place and friendly staff. We tried their juice, sandwiches and some of the sweet stuff. Really nice and tasty. Not to expensive either so I really recommend this place. They have a small seating area across the street which is quite nice.

Shame we paid for breakfast in the hotel. Excellent selection of cakes, pastries and made to order sandwiches. All washed down with coffee and tea. Other beverages are available. All served with a friendly smile.

Take away is available.

Will be visiting again for more of the delicious cakes.

From the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome. The food was beautiful, especially the cottage cheese tarts. Cannot fault this place at all. We went three mornings in a row and even went for cocktails at night, where we sat on the balcony. Thank you for having us.
