Amazing restaurant, the staff were lovely and the food was amazing. So good we've already booked again. A must to visit when in Alvor!

Not our first time here. But 5 of the 6 has the ribs in honey and piri piri sauce. Nobody left disappointed. Lovely fire going as well to keep the chill off in the winter evenings

First time but will be back again. Prepare for a surprise when you enter! Great decor and a wonderful friendly welcome. Full of atmosphere with a tempting menu. The food did not disappoint. Well presented and fab flavours. We had venison with mushroom sauce and grilled vep / sea bass with shrimp and veg. Just superb. This new restaurant is going to be s favourite.

Top-notch service, delicious food, and beautiful views from the roof terrace (we went there for a sunset dinner). We will definitely be returning next time we are in Portimao/Alvor.

We had the pleasure of dining at Atascado during a recent trip, after reading many positive reviews we decided to try it out , we found it had a warm ambiance and the attentive staff made us feel cherished.
Food was authentic and well priced , the chilli ribs were amazing and completely different, and the sea bass was really great accompanied by a nice reasonable wine , made a great evening out and avoided some of the crowds and hyped up prices on the main strip .. definitely would recommend..

I visited Atascado a while ago but never got around to writing a reivew. The food was pretty unforgettable, so I had to make the time to write this review :) I'd go as far as saying that the food we ate here was one of the best from all of the restaurants we tried whilst we were in the Algarve. I highly recommend

Excellent experience! Staff lovely. Food 5 star! Atmosphere not bad, but i think a bit of background music would make this experience, i.e..food..Service and Atmosphere 5 star all round. Your so close to perfection!

We had our meal on the roof terrace which was lovely. It was packed in the main restaurant downstairs. Food was lovely - had bread, olives, cheese and tuna pate as well as the goats cheese starter. Followed by John Dory fillet with Portuguese sauce, and tofu for the main dishes. The bottle of vinho verde was very nice too.

It was a great visit. Very cosy and atmospheric place combined with tasty and reasonably priced food, which is not that common in a touristy location.

Very appreciated the friendly service and the house medronho (wild strawberry spirit). My hubby was happy to recall his younger years spent in Alvor and Portimão.

A hidden Gem in Alvor! We stumbled upon this restaurant last time we were in Alvor and had to come back! Our second visit didn’t disappoint! Excellent food, excellent service and beautiful views to top it off ❤

We sat in the rooftop. With really nice views of the sunset. The service was great. Wait staff were super helpful and attentive. Food was alright. Had some authentic steak options and they cooked the sausage table side which was a nice experience. They don’t have a lot of vegetarian options though.

Did not have a reservation, was told to go upstairs. Nice views and Super friendly service. Great Seafood and a nice reasonably priced bottle of wine made for a great experience...

First time in this restaurant and we were very impressed.

Great place, really stylish. Lovely staff and fabulous food!! Sea bass stuffed with prawns in lime butter was soooo tasty!!
