Daniel SOLRIO Alvor suites

We have just returned from a 10-day stay at the Daniel Solrio apartments. The apartment had everything we could possibly need for our stay and the decor and cleanliness were of the highest standard. Daniel arranged our airport taxis, and timing was spot on with friendly, knowledgeable drivers. There were no worries about our arrival at a new place; Daniel was there to meet us with the keys and gave us an unhurried and full tour of the apartment as well as lots of local info so we felt at home immediately. More importantly, Daniel was available with an immediate response to a query. Our first time in Alvor and the Solrio, but we will be back.

Having stayed with Daniel previously, we knew what to expect, and of course, we weren't disappointed. The apartment we rented was beautiful, spacious and spotless (cleaned immaculately each week of our five week stay). The welcome bottles of wine and chocolates were a terrific Christmas present. Thank you Daniel and the team for a wonderful stay.

We have just returned from a 3 week holiday at Solrio Apartments. This is our third stay, each time in a different apartment and all are tastefully furnished, well equipped and exceptionally clean.
The apartment overlooks the immaculately kept pool and gardens and from from the balcony there are beautiful views of the estuary and the sunsets are not to be missed.
Daniel is a charming, reliable host and there is always a warm welcome on arrival.

We have stayed at Sol Rio many times over the years and this is a first staying at one of Daniel’s apartments. I can honestly say it is definitely the best by far, from the lovely warm welcome (we were able to gain access as soon as we arrived mid morning!) and handover, to how immaculately clean and well kept the apartment is. We loved that the apartment has a clean mid stay, and the beds are massive and so comfy! It has all of the comforts from home that you usually miss. It really is a 5*plus rating, so Daniel will be our first port of call when we are booking to stay again. Thankyou so much for having us and we look forward to coming back.xx

Another wonderful stay. We stayed in the fantastic Solrio Apartments in June. We are regulars here as they are simply the best Apartments I have stayed in especially as they are very reasonably priced. We like to stay in a top floor as a roof top terrace with BBQ is included. The view of the river is beautiful. Apartment is equiped with all mods and cons including washing machine, dishwasher coffee maker, top quality kitchen equipment. Bed is large and very comfortable bathroom is ideal. British TV is available so no need to miss Love Island. Apartments are situated a few minutes walk from centre of town and 10 minutes walk from beach. Cleaning is once per week and is meticulous. We also stayed in the Garden villa in July with our Family, 4 adults and 3 kids. Villa is well situated and is stunning. 4 bedrooms 3 en suites swimming pool, upstairs sun terrace, utility room with Washing machine. Villa is tastefully decorated and has everything needed for a great family holiday. Daniel is a wonderful host and will go the extra mile to make the holiday better. We have already booked for next year and will be returning to Solrio in September and hopefully returning for many years to come. Thank you Daniel will see you soon.

The apartment is beautiful, bright and airy, spotlessly clean and well-equipped. In terms of facilities, kitchen utensils and cutlery, it has everything you need and more. Daniel is a fantastic host, extremely friendly and helpful. He has an eye for detail, which is not only clear to see in the apartment itself, but also in guest relations - nothing was a problem. His follow through was exemplary. Even upon checkout he was incredibly helpful and kind, coordinating taxis, arranging the storage of luggage etc. I would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely apartment to family and friends. Right from when we booked, Daniel made everything clear, hassle free and easy to understand. His communication throughout was first class, as was the apartment. Wow - such stunning views, everything was of a high spec; it was very clean, really comfortable and the quality of everything gave a real feeling of luxury. We felt safe and although the apartment is only a few minutes walk to the hustle and bustle of Alvor, the apartment's location meant it was very quiet too. The view over the estuary was lovely and stunning when the sun went down.

The Best in Alvor
My wife and I have just enjoyed four months at Solrio. The apartment is perfect, everything we needed plus more. Daniel is the consummate professional. He goes to great lengths to ensure you enjoy your stay. From prompt communication to clarity, it has been a pleasure dealing with him.
The apartment is tastefully decorated, comfortable and well equipped. The cleanliness and cleaning service is second to none. We would not hesitate in staying again whenever we are in the area. The location is ideal, just a short stroll to all the culinary delights and beauty Alvor has to offer yet the tranquility from the generously sized and furnished balcony gives the feeling of being in a remote location overlooking the charming old town. The sunsets are mesmerising.
No need to look any further, this is the place to stay.

Where to start ? Absolutely fantastic apartment which is very tastefully decorated , it is in a great location a very short walk from town , supermarket and about 15 mins to the beach. Daniel greeted us at the apartment and left no stone unturned to ensure we would have as comfortable stay as possible , there is nothing he hasn’t thought about , nice touch with loungers at the pool and on the balcony .
We had breakfast most mornings in the sun and drinks on the balcony watching the sunset over the fantastic view of the estuary .
When we return to Alvor we will definitely be enquiring about availability. This was our first real holiday after covid and we wanted it to be special , we couldn’t have asked for better Thankyou Daniel

Daniel also arranged our transfer too and it was very prompt and efficient.

The transaction of transfer of monies was very smooth and simple to use.

This really is a superb apartment, which has been extensively prepared for everything you could possibly need whilst on holiday.

They are all tastefully furnished to an extremely high standard with everything you need to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable, from high quality ultra comfortable beds to stylish cutlery Daniel and his team have thought of everything to make your stay perfect, down to the finest detail.
The fully fitted kitchen has all the High spec appliances you need - dishwasher , washing machine ,oven ,microwave and fridge freezer .
The sofa bed is extremely comfortable and very easy to convert , it’s obvious a lot has been invested to ensure the highest quality of all the fixtures and fittings .
The decor is calm and relaxing ,stylish and very well presented throughout , we absolutely love it !
For exclusive use of guests the welcoming pool is situated overlooking beautiful views of surrounding countryside in well maintained , manicured gardens , with dedicated loungers and umbrellas are provided in your suite .A smaller children’s pool is perfect for your little ones , the pool areas are always very clean and the water regularly checked and maintained.
The pool area has a very relaxed feel and is wonderfully peaceful.
We have 2 balconies, one from the bedroom and one from the main living area overlooking the pool and the amazing scenery beyond including the Estuary -We Love enjoying our breakfast there in the morning or glass of wine at sunset , really does not get any better than this!
They also provide loungers on the balcony , where we love to have an afternoon siesta in the breeze .
From the moment you arrive ( and park your car in the dedicated underground car park) Daniel and his team make sure you have the best of everything, they are so helpful , totally professional and accommodating , and have literally thought of everything you may need .
We highly recommend these suites , especially if you want to be thoroughly spoilt , we wouldn’t stay anywhere else .

The apartment was fully equipped, full of taste furnished, bright and spotlessly clean.
The sunset views on the Alvor river from the living room vere breathless.

Simply the Best

My wife and I have stayed in all three top floor apartments, they are simply the best holiday apartments I have ever stayed in and because of this we stay in these apartments at least twice a year. They are spacious, modern, tastefully furnished including washing machine/dishwasher and all other home comforts it also has a full range of English/German/Dutch TV if needed. The apartment is spotlessly clean and a weekly visit by housekeeper Teresa ensures it is kept in pristine condition. The views overlooking the river from the rear Balcony are wonderful and the roof terrace is fantastic complete with BBQ a great place for the sunworshipper and very private. A ten minute walk will get you to the beach a pingo supermarket is within 200 metres while 5 minutes takes you to the town centre. Our host Daniel is very professional and attentive, he always goes the extra mile to ensure his guests highest expectations are met. Daniel was a great help during our last stay as we needed documents printed for our return journey this saved a lot of hassle at the Airport. Unfortunately our stay was cut a couple of days short due to Covid and Easyjet cancelling our flight but we hope to return in September; hopefully restrictions will have eased by then.

The SolRio is an amazing apartment with superb stylish interior design,every detail is tasteful and of the highest quality.The accommodation is furnished to an exceptional standard,including kitchen appliances and utensils.The views are amazing and this is such a pleasure to relax in high specification comfortable surroundings, with a glass of wine in hand watching the beautiful sunsets.It is only a short stroll into Alvor village with a variety of bars and restaurants
The apartment has underground parking with an automatic door,with lifts up to the accommodation.
Daniel and the team truly supply customer excellence.

We stayed in July of this year and can honestly say the apartment was everything and more than we expected.

Location is perfect, sun terrace was fantastic and Daniel looked after us brilliantly. Just a very short walk to the village centre with its fantastic bars and restaurants and a shorter walk to the well stocked Pingo Doce for supplies.

The rear balcony gave lovely views to the river and countryside beyond. The roof terrace is perfect with views to the quiet countryside to the rear also.

This was a stress free stay for us and we would very happily recommend Daniel and the accommodation to anyone.

As always, Daniel is the perfect host of the most perfect accommodation.

We are into our second month staying in Solria apartments. From the outset Daniel has been an attentive host and is always available to help us with any query we might have. Throughout the lockdown he has kept us informed and abreast of any changes announced by the Portuguese authorities. Daniel is very particular and professional in his approach to customer service. Nothing is done by half measure with this company. Everything works like the most perfect Swiss clockwork!
The location of Solria suites in our opinion is just about perfect. There is no requirement to have a rental car when staying here but if you do there is a basement garage. There is an excellent Pingo Doce supermarket nearby and a newly opened Golf facility with bar and restaurant right next door. The edge of the medieval village of Alvor is literally 10 paces from the front gate of the suites and after a 2 minute walk you are in village square. The beach, famous boardwalks and harbour area are also just a short walk away.
The apartment is fully equipped and exceptionally modern. The décor is artistic and creates a beautiful stylish and relaxing ambience. The bedroom has the most comfortable mattress and in my view crucially important.
There are two balconies perfectly positioned; bedroom facing east for morning sun and the lounge balcony facing west for evening sun and sunset. The lounge balcony looks out over the beautiful river estuary, rolling green country side and further to the mountains (reminds me of home). It would be remiss of me not to pay tribute to the service staff. The quality of their work has been exceptional throughout our stay and they are meticulous in their work.
Without hesitation I can truly recommend Solria. Top marks to the whole team and we will stay here again if available.

Daniel is the most perfect host. All his properties have quality fixtures and fittings. Solrio is a beautiful complex with fabulous views, gardens and pool.

We've been going to Alvor for nearly 18 years, we had the best time ever, apartment was absolutely fantastic and in exactly the right spot. 4 minute walk into village centre.
Can't wait to go back.
