PERU QUECHUAS LODGE OLLANTAYTAMBO

Stayed here before heading to Machu Picchu. The owners are so friendly, and packed us a sack breakfast for our trip on the train. Rooms were clean and cozy. It’s right on the river which provides a nice relaxing sound at night. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Great little place located right on the creek. Amazing views right from my patio. The hosts are kind, and the breakfast was great. Bed was super comfy and I slept great as it was a quiet location.

Best bed and shower I had in 5 weeks travelling Peru. The hosts are awesome and really helpful and the location is great - just out of town and you can see the ruins from your window.

They were super lovely and the room was nice. Their space is very relaxing.

They were kind and helpful with our need to leave our big bag there for a few days while we were trekking.

The beautiful couple who own the lodge are lovely and make a great effort to ensure us guests are comfortable as possible. They're also helped by some very friendly staff and we really appreciated the care they've shown us to this point.

The breakfast included this morning was really well prepared.

There is free tea and coffee. Free wifi. A nice area to sit and work / read.

I couldn't recommend this place highly enough, particularly for the price we have our room (with an extra large bed).

Loved staying here. It's located right next to the river, which provides a calming sound at night. The staff is the absolute best. I forgot something in my room at checkout and they met me at the train station to give it back to me.

Peru Quechua's lodge The lodge is incredible; it has a beautiful view of the river; the owner of the lodge welcomed us and he was very friendly. I recommend it 100%.
It has wi-fi, many blankets due to the cold weather in Cusco, and tv.
The owner got up very early the next morning to prepare breakfast for us since our train to Aguas Calientes left very early.
The only con is that it was a bit difficult to find the lodge, but when you arrive you realize that you just have to go straight down a street and you will find it.
I would have loved to stay a few more days since it is a place with very beautiful energy.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. BEST BREAKFAST IN ALL OF PERU! Super comfortable bed and the river sounds were all we heard as we slept. The location is perfect for exploring Ollantaytambo on foot. Highly recommend!

Edith and Stijn (the owners of Perú Quechua's Lodge) know how to create an exceptional time for you in Ollantaytambo! They are tremendously caring, friendly and kind.

I stayed at this beautiful plays for one month and I loved every single moment. The breakfast is incredible delicious (home made marmalade, eggs from their own chickens and coffee from their own plantation), the room is super clean, the whole Lodge smells like flours and you will live right next to a river that will take your sorrows away (if you have any left). On top of that, you are surrounded by mountains and historical Inca sights, a view that will leave you speechless.

Welcome in Ollantaytambo, the sacred pearl of mother earth, and welcome to Perú 😉

We had a wonderful stay with Stijn and Edith. As fellow Belgians it was nice to speak some Dutch with both Edith and Stijn. The rooms were tidy and cosy. They also helped us setting up with a taxi driver to go through the Sacred Valley to Cuzco. We are sure that their experience as guides helped us and them. They also make their own chocolate and coffee, which makes their story really awesome.

If you go to Machu Picchu don’t hesitate to stop over at Ollantaytambo and Stijn and Edith’s place.

A cute lodge in the mountains of Ollanta. Stijn and his wife Edith were excellent hosts who made the check-in process painless and easy. Breakfast the following morning was delicious including having it ready for our early bus departures for the Inka Trail and back to Cusco. We stayed here twice and both trips were perfect for our stop in Ollantaytambo.

I booked three night's here and extended it for two more. This was by far the nicest and most well run location out of the eight I stayed in during my five week exploration of Peru. The location is outstanding and the service was second to none. You overlook the main ancient sight of Ollyantayambo from here and the river running right next store made it easy to rest, relax and sleep. Ollyantayambo was the most charming little historic town I have ever been to and staying here made it even more memorable.

Beautiful garden, rooms right on the River that overlook the Incan ancestral site, breakfast included, incredibly hospitable hosts. Excellent value. We changed our itinerary to come back again

Excelente lugar para descansar en Ollantaytambo, buena ubicación para estar tranquilo, alejado del tránsito de la plaza principal. Si vas muy cargado es mejor tomar un moto taxi para llegar al tren o terminal de minibus. Atendido por sus dueños, muy buena atención y muy amables; se agradece la hospitalidad.

Wir haben drei Nächte dort verbracht und waren so zufrieden. Uns war bewusst, dass das Haus direkt am Fluß liegt und ja es war teilweise laut, doch das hat uns nicht gestört. Sehr saubere Zimmer, Toiletten, Flure und Speiseraum. Jeden Morgen ein tolles frisches Frühstück dazu und der Tag kann kommen. Das Team vor Ort ist sehr zuvorkommend, hilfreich und hat auch geholfen Touren zu organisieren. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Idyllische Lage und der Bahnhof ist in 15 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar.

Los dueños danbuna atención de lujo, con desayunos increíbles, además el chocolate de marca propia está delicioso. El recorrido turístico que nos ofrecieron fue inigualable...

Exelente todo! baño limpio, habitacion calida con vista a ruinas de Ollantaitambo y sobre el rio Patacancha, cama acogedora y comoda. Edith y su esposo siempre dispuestos a ayudar calidos y muy agradables. Desayuno con productos de elaboración propia, riquisimos¡Lo recomiendo 100% y volveria sin dudarlo 🇦🇷

Excelente todo. A destacar la atención y predisposición de los dueños, muy amables. El desayuno estaba muy bien, con algunos productos de elaborados por ellos mismos. Todo muy limpio e higiénico. Las camas también estaban muy bien. Ninguna queja. Muy recomendable.

Habitaciones y baño limpios. Camas muy cómodas. Desayuno bueno con productos locales. Ubicado al lado del río, muy bonito. Stijn y Edith muy simpáticos y disponibles. Absolutamente recomendado!!
