Valley View Lodge Khumjung

Amazing view from room, if u have room under roof its warm. Lovely people! The owner told us many interesting storys about climing mt. everest.

Owned by a lovely couple, Valley View is one my favourites in the Khumbu region. Pasang Sherpa is a really cool person with lots of climbing knowledge, the place is a family environment. Tuna cheese pizza is a must to try!

Enjoyed a peaceful stay in this lodge and the lovely Khumjung village on our way to Kala Patthar. Very nice owner, clean rooms and delicious food.

Stayed 2 days on my way up to Gokyo.
Small family owned lodge at the hearth of the village. Really friendly owners who gave plenty of great advices for things to do attound Khumjung and for the rest of my trip!

I was very privileged to have been introduced to Pema and Doma. They were enormously hospitable and helpful. Since staying with them in 2015 we have remained friends. Their lodge is their home and they open it to you. It was the closest we felt to having a home while on the Everest Base Camp trail. Doma's cooking is sensational. Sherpa stew and fried noodles are the best.

Pema was our trekking guide and I recommend him to everyone I know who is doing the base camp trek. He is so experienced, I trust him to take care of all of my friends.

We experienced the earthquake which was incredibly challenging, and he made certain we were safe and taken care of despite having his own friends and family to worry about. An amazing couple to meet.

The lodge is very clean with beautiful views, the dining room is very comfortable. The internet worked well, the toilets were nice. I recommend you visit.

She offered me the brush (kind of) to removing the soil of my dirty boots & pant after a whole day trekking.
You could feel how the house-master to love and clean her lodge, in fact her home.
The best shower room and toilet room, so far in our national park trekking, I must say. No broken tile, clean and spotless.........And of course the shower head and hot water are working well.
And, the little girl "Tin Chung" (pls excuse my spelling) the little master of the lodge to organize the reception area.....ha....ha......
Definitely, one of my break time and long staying lodge at a quiet, peacful and spiritual village!

Delicious food, cozy bed, fast internet, best location in the village and the owner is 3 time Mt. Everest Summiter {a story teller}. Beside the scenic view, they added the flavour of staying at Khumjung infinitely.

Great Sherpa hospitality and delicious food is found here. People who come to visit Everest and stay in Namche should allow themselves to stay overnight in this place of Khumjung.

No matter how much you can praise Pema Chossang Sherpa and his family for the hospitality and experience it will fall short of the reality.
