It was the best place we stayed in during the Everest base camp trek. The dinner room was always warm and cozy, the food and the hot drinks were delicious and the owner and the waiters were really nice, so we enjoyed every minute of it. We can definitely recommend the deluxe room with own shower and the electric blanket! Thank you very much!

We had trekked to EBC 12 years ago, and on the way loved Namche Bazaar, and vowed to revisit and stay in a more comfy place then the usual camp and tea houses. Randomly picked Panaroma Lodge and the place has far exceeded our expectations for a remote tea house.
Our rooms included private bath and hot showers. Rooms are clean and a heating blanket keeps you toasty warm.
The restaurant has awesome views, warm space, excellent food and above all the service is exceptional.
Overall, the hotel staff are courteous, friendly and extremely helpful. Thanks to Ming Ma and family for your loving hospitality. You'll always be in our hearts. Blessings for your family for continued success in the business 🙏

The incredible lodge and the exceptional service we received at Panorama made our experience a memorable one. They make great food and the folks there are super friendly. During the whole time, Mingma took care of us. The rooms are well-kept and cozy, with a great bathroom and a spacious bedroom. It is a place that I would definitely return to.

Hands down, of the best lodges on our 2 week trek! The location is remote enough that it’s quiet and not crowded, the view is amazing and the rooms are warm and clean. You get things you would normally get in a city hotel. The hot shower is actially hot! :)

The dining room is also warm and welcominga and Mingma is an amazing host. We loved our talks with him, he was very attentive with our needs and we loved staying at his place… both times :)

Stayed here during our EBC trek and we are group of 8. Simply amazing lodge. Bit far from the town but worth the walk, good thing it is next to EBC trek path to DeBoche. Rooms are spacious with warm blankets and hot shower. Come out of the rooms for amazing Namche view. Owner and staff have a great sense of hospitality. Highly recommended, wish could spend one more night here.

Mingma, his mother (the owners), as well as Dinesh (manager/barista) and all their staff, really care and treat you like family and not customers. Mingma answered all my whatsapp when we booked a few months ahead, and gave plenty of advice as it would be the first time at high altitude. The lodge has a warm atmosphere, amazing views. Cozy beds with electric blankets, hot showers, really affordable laundry, delicious and healthy dining, masterpiece barista coffee by Dinesh. Over 50% of guests are returnees and many famous climbers but Mingma talks to everyone, from groups to solo trekkers, returnees and first timers, and makes you feel at home. We did not do EBC/longer treks like most but stayed 5 days. Mingma took us to two gorgeous day hikes seeing different landscape. We visited and had tea in a traditional sherpa home. And to Khumjung to his old secondary school built by Sir Edmund Hillary with a very good museum. Another day, we trekked to Everest Hotel and Kunde Hospital (founded by Sir Edmund Hillary) and Khumjung with guide Tula. Our days were magical, getting to know beautiful people, learning about the community, flora/fauna, history, effects of climate change. Mingma really takes care of his guests and his town. He and his mum are involved in many projects including healthcare, education and community welfare. Our teenagers loved every moment, even staying off their devices in the evenings playing board games in the restaurant/living area (Dinesh is pretty good at chess!). Our friend, who found the 2nd day from Phakding to Namche too tough got on a horse arranged by Mingma and loved it. While were were out on our treks, our friend went to the local monastary with Mingma's mother, and to museums with Tula. On our last night, his cousin had an engagement dinner in the lodge and we were honoured to join in the festivities, meet extended family members and feast on local food! This place will live in our hearts forever and we are already planning our next trip!

Great hotel with fantastic views. We spent 10 wonderful days there in early May 2022. The owners and their staff are extremely friendly, warm and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable, hot water any time of the day, we even had an electric blanket on the bed. Excellent service, good and varied food, laundry service and a very cozy dining room. A beautiful place in the mountains to relax. Thank you for the wonderful time!

I stayed here twice in March 2023 on my way to and from EBC. In 16 days on the trail, this was by far the best guesthouse I stayed in (undestandably it's hard to get certain amenities higher than Namche). After staying in some less-than-comfortable teahouses on the trail, coming to Panorama Lodge felt like staying at a five star hotel. The deluxe room was spotless, had an ensuite bathroom with a hot shower, in-room charging and electricity, and electric blankets which were a godsend in the cold of the Khumbu. The lodge is in the upper part of Namche and the views from the room were spectacular. Above all, the service provided by Dinesh was truly five-star. He and the rest of the staff catered to my every need and want and made the stay special.

Best place we stayed on the EBC trek. Really good electric blanket and hot shower in the room. You can also get a electric heater in your room for $15 a night. Food was brilliant. Sandwiches and chips were amazing. Common room has incredible views and you can play games et cetera.

This was by far the best stay we had on our entire three passes trek. The food is amazing, rooms very comfortable - but the most outstanding has been the overall hospitality. Dinesh deserves a special mention for his continuous impeccable service! And once again a big thanks to Mingma for letting us borrow spikes and for booking our flights back to Kathmandu.

We stayed in the "T" section of rooms which is as high as you can get for this hotel. For $40 a night you have an ensuite bathroom with hot water and heating pads for the beds. This is truly luxurious for Namche. The food was consistently wonderful. And I must say the staff shown the brightest of all. From this hotel it is only 100 m to any given exit point to the higher trails. There is Wi-Fi, though it is overwhelmed during the breakfast and dinner hours. There is laundry service from the hotel, And just let the staff know when you would like your room refreshed by handing over the keys for the day. Ming-Ma was a gracious and generous host and his selection of staff is impeccable.

There was not a single point that I could complain about my stay here.

We stayed for 4 nights since one of our group felt a bit sick.

- the rooms are nice and clean. Bed is comfy and warm , with heating blankets and warm layers of normal blankets

-attached bathrooms with western toilets available. Hot shower

- restaurant: honestly the best food we had in Nepal. Fresh prepared and very delicious. Especially tipical Nepalese and Sherpa food is amazing. Lots of vegetarian portions but also different meat available. Plan some time, since everything is cooked fresh. If you crave good coffee, this is also your place to go.

- restaurant, warm and cozy in the evening. Since due to corona we were the only guests they didn’t heat it during the afternoon for obvious reasons.

- staff: very friendly, owner, his mother and waiter speak perfect English. They were amazingly friendly and attentive, gave us lots of tips for the track. Especially the recommended acclimate route was amazing and we wouldn’t have found it our self.

- laundry service available

- we had the feeling that also our guide / porter was cared for very well

- special thanks for showing us the monasterie

A very special lodge with superb hospitality by Mingma and wonderfully comfortable rooms. Great food too the spaghetti has homemade tomato sauce, we also enjoyed the salami pizza and cappuccino expertly prepared by Dinesh. This lodge was our favorite of the EBC trek.

a perfect place to stay and recharge. When you wake up, you can enjoy the magnificent panoramic view, start the day with a charming conversation with the owner and a delicious breakfast and end it after the hike with regional specialties at the warm stove.

I can not say enough good things about Panorama Lodge and Mingma. Stopped here on a way up and down from climbing Island Peak.

Regular rooms are clean and comfy enough. Fantastic dining room with good food and excellent views of Namche.

Laundry, post cards with stamps, hot shower (towel rental extra), free phone charging, good toilets (trust me not a given in Nepal).

I also enjoyed the location (higher point of Namche). Definitely coming back.
