I love the workshop in Decathlon Arena. The staff specially the tall guy with an accent and beautiful eyes (idk his name :P) he is amazing and very helpful. Even though he is very busy, he always finds a way to help and solves the issue out. I hope you find him when u go there.

A huge store, with big range of affordable and well made products. I liked the range and type of products in the shop. You can almost get any sports equipment or related item at the shop. The store staff are helping and friendly

This is a well stocked sports shop with many varieties of affordable goods and serene environment with friendly staff. Goods here are on sales with competitive prices. Well done DECATHLON.

Good products at very good prices

Great store, it's the biggest in Amsterdam with a looot of choice! It's usually busy in the weekend, especially now with whole families shortly before the summer holidays. But I understand it, it's a nice activity, for me feels like a da out as well.
Also price wise good, cheaper and mor expensive choice.
Definitely worth a visit if you need some equipment.

Best customer service on the planet! They actually put effort into helping you return their products. EVEN WITHOUT THE RECEIPT!!

To expand, I recently bought a few road cycling products here and had to return a few.
I had no receipt, but by showing them the bankstatement of the card I used to pay with they were so kind to give me my money back.

This gives me, the customer a feeling of trust in a store that I haven't experienced before. Because whatever I buy there, I will be safe to return it for whatever reason.

Would like to commend the customer service to their management, but not sure how - so I am leaving this review as a small token of my appreciation.
If management reads this and is interested I can point the two ladies out, because they definitely have a heart for Decathlon and their customers.

Huge store with good winter gear, since the store was big it was overwhelming for me to look the stuff, however the staff was very good adn a guy (dont knw the name) helped me till the end to get all the stuff I needed.

Great shop with great selection of sporting and camping gear. The range of products suits any budget. Also sells cheap bicycles which are actually pretty decent, great for us locals who get their bike stolen every other quarter! Staff is helpful. Skip the queue at the register by using the selfscan checkout.

The staff at the Bijlmer Shop is helpful and always reply with a smile! I would like to praise the Gentleman that fixed my bike a couple of times, unfortunately I do not know is name. He is super welcoming and nice! I get real service every time I go there. Clearly they are not there only to make money but to keep the Customer satisfied and coming back. True definition of Customer Service!

Always liked the value you can get from products sold In this store. But the last time I got my tennis racquets strung within less than 18 hours + only paid for strings (28 eur for two).

The best prices, warranty on all products and a lot of options. They accept returns within 360 days and the return process is always smooth.
They accept credit card, which is not common in The Netherlands.
You can also shop online and collect at the store without extra charge.

Nice market. I wanted to return an order and did it though the website quite easily. Soon I got the money back on my account. Idk about custimer service or whaterver but the return procedure works really good.

On my way to work, my chain broke. So I looked for the first bike shop in the vicinity. Turned out to be (Marc Bike Shop, Hoekenrode). But there they are more interesting in making money than giving real service. Lending me the tool I needed to put the chain back together was out of the question. No, I could buy it (I already got two), or wait an hour if I let them fix it. No thank (Assistant (the rude one) was convinced I had a 8 speed. Guess counting is not here strong point. And shop owner had only general answers on somewhat-technical questions (and plenty of meaningless mumblings about his views on running a shop) . ... Nope. Compare that to Decathlon, where I went next. There I just could fix my chain (in store) without any complaints. They even gave me a hand-cleaner, when I was done, to turn my, now greasy black hands, back to normal. (only regret is that I did buy the chain-link in Marc's Bike Shop. But as its the only thing I will ever buy there. Its a cheap price to pay to know where not to go.)

Outstanding customer service and value. As I'm an expat I am learning to keep my expectations low when it comes to Dutch customer service but these guys could teach UK retailers a thing or two. I went on a busy saturday afternoon interested in a fold up electric bike. I was able to take it out and try it for myself, outside and on the road. I have a year to take it back for an exchange. Very pleased with the service and the cost makes it a no brainer. Special mention to Pol who helped me, honest patient advice with no pressure.
