You go through the exhibits from the point of view of a Russian worker with a wicked sense of humour who tells her stories via the audio guide. Great way to find out more about the industry and the people who work in it.

You must visit this museum it was so interesting and fun! Got a great insight into the industry of the red light district and the women behind the glass. Also learned some fascinating (but dark) history of the old building itself. Would definitely recommend checking it out! Also buy your tickets online as it is cheaper.

Actually a great museum on the strip compared to the others, really insightful and educational! You really step in the workers shoes and get a taste of what they experience on a daily basis. No wait and the staff are kind.

This is the best museum I’ve been to. Usually museums are not my favorite way to spend my time but this one is definitely worth it. Very informative and it was fun to stand in the window and see what it’s like.

I will give 5 star for many reasons
Learnt many things about Red light district area in Amsterdam
I really sympathise with their life
The tour was amazing
Some people said its boring
But I can tell you that its great
You see girls in window and can do Window shopping
But what is the reality
Why they are in this profession
Why they had to pick this profession
Understanding the dark side of their life
They're human and we need to see them as human and not as toys
So I loved the tour and the country

I found the Red Light Secrets museum in Amsterdam to be incredibly educational and enlightening. The recreated rooms and personal stories of sex workers really brought the realities of the profession to life. It was especially impactful to learn about the challenges they face and the importance of fair treatment. I also appreciated the section that compared sex work portrayals in media to the true experiences of sex workers.

The exhibit I found most interesting was the bedroom. Seeing the items that would be in a room, how small it was, and how differently it felt from how sex work is often portrayed in media, really drove home the realism for me. This small detail made a big difference.

I left the museum feeling more empathetic towards sex workers. It is easy to dismiss what they do for a living. Knowing that some of these women are victims of sex trafficking is disheartening. The Netherlands is doing their best to crack down on sex trafficking but there is always a way to slip through the cracks. This added a layer of complexity to the issue that I hadn't considered before.

This was great fun and actually very interesting! You can let them know when you go in what language you need and they will give you a fob to scan on a QR code in each room which will have a story. Mad some of the stories.

Would recommend no problem. Gave us a great giggle.

This wonderful museum (tragic story) is definitely worth a visit for everyone! Many of you will wonder what it’s like to be on the other side and perhaps people will begin to judge women less and respect women more! Women are the most beautiful creatures on earth, men - appreciate it! ♀

This was a great experience. It took about a half hours to walk through. It shows you behind the scene of what the work is like. You get a small handheld guide that explains each room and what goes on. I really enjoyed this leaning experience and I have much respect for the women in this trade.

Fantastic and informative. A must see place while I'm Amsterdam. Great price and was awesome to see an actual brothel with a detailed script from a working girl. Love it.

Absolutely loved this museum. We went during the day and the line was quite long. But definitely worth the wait. We waited around 20 min as they let a few ppl in at a time.
It's extremely narrow so if your like me and stop to read everything, maybe go at the end....
From the history of the red light district, to stories of the girls and more.
It was worth the visit in my opinion ♥

This is great museum to open your eyes into some home truths. Very interesting stories about the red light district and the workers. We enjoyed exploring & of course we got a photo at the end, why not 😎 The little control thing where you scan and listen to real life stories is a huge bonus to the museum. 👏🏻

The red light district is such an usual place. I had so many questions about how it all works, and this place answers them all for you! You have an audio guide throughout your tour around the museum by a lady of the night and she tells you the in and outs of the business. It's a must visit when you are there

Very interesting, the lady speaking over the audio guide was very funny and informative, although very colourful language 🤣 it's quite a kinky tour but overall very nice to have
