Amsterdam Marriott Hotel

Centrally located with convenient public transport from the airport, this Marriott was ideal for our 4 day visit to Amsterdam.
We arrived early and they stored our bags and gave us access to the executive lounge while we waited for our room to be ready. The concierge was helpful in guiding us to activities and discount passes for a boat tour and bike rentals. Our room was on the 9th floor which let in lots of light and views of the skyscrapers. The rooms have air conditioning but no heat. We were given a portable heater and extra blanket to keep us comfortable. The executive lounge had lots of seating and nice breakfast and dinner options.

We had the best time while we stayed at this hotel in Amsterdam. The staff was outstanding. The area to check in was very busy when we arrived and the staff made sure to greet everyone and engage with us, asking where we came from and if we would like some water. Later, we had questions for the concierge, they were extremely helpful with directions, maps, and calling for dinner reservations. We wanted to taste the traditional foods and they knew exactly where to recommend. They were great about ordering us a hired car for our excursions and back to the airport.
Location is perfect! So close to everything you would like to do, museum row, the park, restaurants, canal tours, cheese shops, souvenirs, and sandwich shops.
Really great service and we would definitely come back to this hotel.

Very nice hotel, but an exceptional kindness from Daniela at the reception. I had a small error on my booking, and she handled it in a very nice and professional manner. As a former hotel manager, I pay special attention to those behaviors and that definitely makes a massive difference. Thanks again for your help and attention

The service in this hotel is amazing, staff is very attentive and friendly.
The location is very good in the center of Amsterdam everything is close by . I would only suggest to take care more in the cleanliness of the hotel, for example the door track of the elevators are very dirty . Also to switch the bathtubs with showers.

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. It would be hard to pick a more convenient location for tourists. The rooms are relatively small, with minor annoyances such as only a recessed UK plug (which is not great with most power adapters, they disconnect as gravity pulls the adapter down) on one side of the bed while the other side has a US outlet and an expected EU outlet. Not clear if the US outlet is 120 or 240, so not terribly useful for most hairdryers, heating pads, etc.

The staff is excellent and super nice. Location wise it is in the perfect spot, close to the centre but not in the middle so there aren't many noises.

So cozy and well appointed!! Service staff is great, their ensuring of clean rooms upon check in is not. Found trash from previous quest still in the receptacle. And the towels could be a great deal softer.

**Sadly the incident wasn't isolated. I also received dirty-clean wash cloths and towels. Triple checking your laundry contractor might be a good idea too.
Otherwise lovely stay.

This place is amazing! The staff is beyond anything you can imagine. If you can upgrade to the executive club level where you have access to the club- highly recommend! The staff in the club is off the charts. The rooms are amazing. The beds are so comfortable. Location is awesome! In the heart of Hyde park. The concierge can give you a really great walking tour if you want to walk to see all the sights or they will get a double decker or car to take you. Location rules! The restaurants in the hotel are superb!

Stayed here over the weekend and it was great. The location was conviently placed next to the tram station and casino. The rooms were on the smaller side but well designed. The water pressure goes from 0 to 60 very quickly. The best part about our stay was the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I've ever had and it was free. The buffet had literally anything you could want to eat. We definitely felt like we got a great value and experience for our stay.

This place could not have been more perfect. Perfect location and super walkable to everything in Amsterdam, amazing staff, and I loved the M club and all it had to offer. This restaurant ticked all boxes for me and I’m so glad I stayed here. Thank you Amsterdam Marriott staff for making my first trip to your beautiful country so memorable.

Stayed here for one night, so first the check in was fast and very helpful staff, they notice you when you are standing in line for a checkin and ask you if you need any assistance.
The rooms are nice and modern design, everything was clean. For dinner we went to Midtown Grill which is a nice and beautiful steakhouse, they explained all the variety of meats, and it was super nice atmosphere and delicious food.
Next day for breakfast was as well a lot of different variety of foods. It got a little busy but the staff was hardworking and helpful.
The check out later was fast, we felt appreciated and we left the hotel in a good mood.

It is located in one of the most central points of Amsterdam. You can go everywhere by walk very easily. Warm and friendly staff welcomes you from the first entrance. Very clean and comfortable. Only the rooms could be a little more spacious :) everything else was perfect.

My family and I had breakfast in the M Club during our last visit in Feb. I found out fruits were not fresh to serve and just causally told Charles, the employee in the lounge the same as courtesy. Later that day, the head chef of the hotel left a hand writing card in our room. We were so surprise. I didn’t tell Charles my name, and I did not complain the food at all but just want them to know the condition. I would say the Marriott staffs are professional, and care the visitors’ opinion. We may just visit Amsterdam once in our life, but we will definitely remember the stay in this Marriott hotel and all of their friendly staff.

Hotel quite old . It was tastefully decorated, impeccably clean, and equipped with good amenities that contributed to a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere. The bed was particularly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the vibrant city.

The rooms are well kept, very clean, but their strongest point is their location. On the corner, you can take the bus, the train, trolley, or even a canal tour.

We had a great stay here as a family. The family room was ideal for our visit. The staff was attentive and the room was clean and comfy. The location is close to all museums (novo, reichsmuseum, Van Gogh), lots of great restaurants and all public transport. Definitely recommend.

Great location.Staff generally helpful and very service oriented esp front desk and bfast team at midtown grill. We look forward to our daily breakfast and was always greeted by lovely Angela. I like to single out Jordan front desk Imola bfast server, Claudia- dinner who has also made a great impact on our stay. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

This is a solid hotel choice if you’re visiting Amsterdam. It’s conveniently located to a lot of major attractions and activities. It’s also located right next to train stops that can quickly bring you to the airport when you’re leaving. Everything is in walking distance from here. The rooms are clean and the staff are very friendly. I would recommend this hotel.
