Avondwinkel & Slijterij Alexia

Exactly what I was looking for after returning to my hotel late after an event and almost everything was closed. They were busy as I'd expect since everything else was closed. It was crowded and staff was trying to rush through the line, they were as polite as I'd expect. I was happy with the selection and that something was open.

We went there a little scared about previous comments. The guy who served us was the politest, nicest and more helpful man we met so far here. Nice shop, a lot of things. Do get fooled by other comments. Also open until late! Thanks!

Dit is een boter goede avondwinkel

Avondwinkel en Slijterij Alexia is een fijne winkel met een groot variatie aan producten en kwaliteit. Wordt er altijd netjes geholpen.
Zij vragen ook naar de identiteit wanneer twijfel is bij leeftijd van jonge klanten bij verkoop van drank en sigaretten.

Fijne zaak en het personeel is vriendelijk en helpt je graag!

The 3-star average is probably about right. The staff have zero interest in even acknowledging your existence. Better to go a few blocks west to SPAR. However, SPARs hours are shorter, so this places works when it works. Expect a long line to enter later in the evening.

Lokatie is lastig te bereiken als je met een auto komt,

Dit is geen slijterij! Alleen bier of wijn kan men hier kopen maar geen sterke drank.

Not friendly with people not speaking Dutch.Politeness isn’t part of their vocabulary. A shame for Rotterdam letting that kind of folks having a small business running.

Wat een onvriendelijk personeel. Je mag afrekenen bij ze, maar verder is er geen communicatie. En pas op, de biertjes kunnen een jaar over datum zijn.
