Bar Restaurant Sijf

I tried bitterballen (8pcs) here, and although they were expensive I think they were incredible and perfectly paired to beer. The actual pub itself has a very cozy Dutch atmosphere. Service is a bit slow but that's ok as long as you aren't in a rush!

Probably the best spare ribs I've ever had. Chef Timothy is fantastic. For what appears as a classic pub both the service and food are absolutely top notch.

I've been traveling around the Netherlands, Germany and the Czech Republic for a month and this is absolutely in the top 3 meals I've had. Can't wait to go back.

One of our favourite Bars in Rotterdam. We love this cozy and charming atmosphere like in an old Pub 😊. Very good selection of fresh draught beers 🍻. We had a shared plater with different finger food. It was soooo yummy 😋👌. Especially the ribs 🤤. We definitely come back when we're in Rotterdam. Thank you so much for the amazing evenings. Cheers ✌

I went to Sijf for a Company's dinner.

Although the place was quite crowded, the service was nice.

The food we had were good as well as the price.

The best place to enjoy delicious burgers in Rotterdam. The place is cozy and the staff is friendly. Willing to visit later when I visit Rotterdam.

After a few years of not visiting Sijf because it had lost it's good feeling and there were less beers to choose from, we visited last week end (23rd Sep 2023) and was pleasantly surprsed with the welcome.

really great service, we were seated even when all seats were reserved. great selection of beer, limited but delicious food. we were lucky it was unlimited spare ribs so we just had three plates of tender delicious ribs. it's quite an OK price level for the fast, smiling service and great beer+food.

We always go for the best spareribs to Sijf. Very nice atmosphere and vibe.

It has the looks of a "brown café" with all the coziness and relaxed atmosphere that that entails. The food was spectacular! Ribs so tender the meats slides of the bone. Fish and chips so crisp, you'd think you are in England.
Delicious vegetarian options as well.
The beer selection is ample, and is served in style .
The service was fast, attentive, and very professional. Absolutely top place for a drink or a meal.

Absolutely amazing staff! Cheeseboard was great too. Definitely worth a visit but book if you can as it gets busy

Really great atmosphere, excellent choice of beers and friendly staff. This is clearly a very popular place and on the evening we visited, it was rammed. The food was nice but nothing special - I would say good quality pub fare.

Really warm welcoming place just around the corner from the Sonneweld Huis. Micah (not sure that’s the right spelling) was extremely attentive to us (& didn’t seem to be neglecting other guests either) providing good beer recommendations & prompt service. The locally brewed craft beers - in a nice Beer flight - were a delight - especially the chocolate stout & the local Dubbel. Highly recommended . Good job Micah -Rotterdams finest it was a great afternoon

Excellent Cafe with great selection of beers. Had Mannen lieder Saison 6°. Highly Recommended. Good interior plenty of wood with character. Food looked Good too.
