Van der Valk Hotel Amsterdam - Zuidas

The hotel is very clean, the staff are very helpful, and the breakfast buffet was very varied. The welness and gym upstairs are very clean ! The view from our room was beautiful at night. I'm glad I chose this hotel and not another for my stay in Amsterdam. I also asked for bathrobes, and 3 minutes later someone came knocking at my door to bring them! Very pleased. I recently stayed at Van Der Valk Zuidas and had an unsettling experience. In the first room assigned to me, I discovered a hidden camera lens within the large round mirror near the entrance. I requested a room change without disclosing the reason.

Surprisingly, the next room I was given had the same issue with a hidden camera. It seems that all the rooms are equipped with hidden cameras. This is unacceptable and I noticed its being more common these days in 4-5 star hotels, since this is not the only hotel I’ve found hidden cameras in.

Beautiful hotel. Very nice room. Chilled vibes. Only downside is the wellness area didn't open till 10am and we had to leave at 10am. If it opened at 8am that would've been perfect.

Stunning hotel. 5 star in all areas. Restaurant is beautiful. The metro is a 10 minute walk, you can see it from the hotel. The 51 metro takes you to Central station in 12 minutes and runs every 10 minutes. Great value for money at this hotel. Amsterdam central is much more expensive for the rooms you get.

We love this Hotel, because the location is right, everything is new and the service is good!
The Metro is just a few minutes walk. And within 10 minutes you're in the centre of Amsterdam.
The Hotel itself is located near the Rai, a big Expo Centre.
And everything is new. There is a great lounge and a separate restaurant from the place where you can have Breakfast.
The rooms are spacious, with great views and the shower is great. So are the beds, except for one little thing. Is that the pillows are quite big. And they dont have any other types.
But he, who needs to sleep when you are in Amsterdam!?

Great great great stay. Beautiful views. Far enough, but not to far from City Centre. Good parking in hotel. Would go again. To stay in the same room or similar. Van der valk top spot.

Brand new hotel with elegant and calm interior design. We got an upgrade for a room in the 13th floor and it was amazing. Gym and sauna are also large and well equipped. Bfst offers a wide selection.
The only drawback is that’s it’s somewhat away from anything interesting in the city. If you come for a conference, it’s great. If you come as a tourist, prepare to drive every time you go out.

Breakfast and food in general especially good. Always a nice vibe they carry in their hotels!!

A nice Hotel with modern rooms and amazing view into the heart of amsterderm. The stuff was very kind, friendly and helpful. The sauna and fitness-room were nice aswell.
It is close to the center of the city by train and car in around 5 mins.

This brand new hotel has it all! It's an architectural beauty. The rooms are luxurious and spaceful, the breakfast is plentiful, dinner was amazing and the staff are very accommodating!
The cherry on the cake was definitely their wellness spa on the top floor, which offers panaromic views of the city of Amsterdam! This hotel is an absolute gem!

Totally enjoyed our stay in this beautiful hotel. We requested a room as high as possible and ended up on the twelfth floor. Excellent views of the city of Amsterdam. The room was very contemporary and bed was very comfortable. We dined in the restaurant and the food and service were very good.
