Feels like a cozy living room with the mismatch plates and walls lined with family photos. We went with friends splitting the platter for 2 and 2 other dishes. The service was fast, friendly and food was excellent.

Traditional Dutch food! Tasty! We were there at 5:30pm without a reservation and got a seat. But lots of people came after us didn’t get a seat that day coz they are fully booked.

Worth a visit if you want to try transitional Dutch food. Portion is big so don’t order too much. The rice dishes is a must try! Lobster soup is a bit salty.

Love the spare ribs! We didnt have a reservation and was lucky to have a seat when we went. Staff were very friendly and attentive! the place was rather cramped though but the food was delicious. Ordered the Father Spare Ribs (bigger portion to share), Hachee (beef stew with onions), Confit of Duck and an Apple Pie.

Very popular restaurant for local dutch cuisine. It has great decorations of mother’s photos from around the world, the high ceiling making the restaurant feel spacious and classy as well. The food was great, the lobster bisque was tasty and the duck confit was tender and crispy outside.

Note: they only allocated certain seats for online reservation, and still have some tables if you walk in. I went there around 8pm and there were few tables still available for walk-ins.

Managed to grab a last minute seat at this Dutch institution, and we weren’t disappointed with what we found. Quirky and colourful, Moeders is a delight. Greeted like friends and served with homely, comforting food, we left feeling warmed not just by the variety of potato and meat dishes, but Moeders itself. Thank you.

Very beautiful and cosy place. The food was amazing. Also, the apple pie was out of this world. Service was great and the atmosphere. You should go early to find an available table.

If you want to know what Dutch comfort food is like, this is the place. The food is delicious, filling and very satisfying. The staff are super helpful and friendly. It is also child friendly. A must visit in Amsterdam.

Cozy place with choice of indoor and outdoor. Reservation is recommended. It is packed. The place is filled with all the pictures of different mom. It is one of the to go place I would recommend for local Netherlands food like hopscotch. Very filling. I had wine to go with it. Easy accessible with tram. Quite hard to manoeuvre between tables as quite cozy and packed. The hopscotch taste so good with the sauce. I had it with spinach and that is why it is in green. Beef stew is nice and rich and beef are tender and melt when u have them. The staff are friendly and helpful.

high quality dutch comfort food! It was so difficult to find a restaurant that would accept a solo guest on a saturday night without a reservation, but gladly I found this gem. 100% recommended if you are looking for some good local food, with a cute atmosphere and great service.

Terrific restaurant and great service. We had the Dutch Rice dishes, which was more than enough for four adults.

We didn't have a reservation but were lucky enough to find a free table. Very good and warm atmosphere and very good service. The waiters explained what the dishes are and how to eat them. Would definitely recommend.

Checked out Moeders Amsterdam and had their Hachée and Hotchpotch – seriously good comfort food vibes! The owners were super chill, making us feel like we were at a family place. Hachée was a flavor bomb, and the Hotchpotch was a hearty hug in a bowl. If you're after tasty Dutch classics and a friendly vibe, Moeders Amsterdam has got the winning combo.

The atmosphere here is very homely ... the pictures covering the walls of mothers is such a wonderful touch. The food 😋 😍 beautiful!

What a warm and cozy restaurant experience! Truly feels like the Mother’s house and cooking. If you want to try everything, get the samplers platter. However I would highly suggest just get the beef stews (onion or mustard both were fantastic). Otherwise it’s just a lot of potatoes. The salad was top notch. The women brewed beers are must try as well. You won’t regret it.
