It's always fun to shop here when I visit Amsterdam. I found a sea vegetable that is not yet generally available in my stores at home. A chef introduced it to me recently, and I hope it becomes available in my area soon. 'Sea asparagus'

Love the renovations. Great selection of necessities, and now they accept credit cards. Everything was fresh.

Love the fresh selection of salad, breads, and bakery items. Just wish they accepted credit cards from from US citizens. Kinda a hassle having to have their currency. But, other than that great little market!

They have food.☆☆☆UPDATE ☆☆☆, I know that a lot of people prefer to pay with their cards nowadays. I'm not one of them... so it sucks to stand in a line ( "a line" I'll come back to that), and at least four people in front of you are paying with cards 😕 ! So, a line.....everytime I've been to this AH there in only one kaasa open (for cash) and the line is most of the time 8 or 9 people long (at least 5 of them are paying with cards 🙄). Two options, please open both kaasa or and I know this is going to be controversial, make sure that the one kaasa that is open is cash only (it's not like I can pay cash at the 6 other self check outs). Thanks for your time.

Always clean, well-stocked, and treated with friendly individuals. Bring your own bags or be prepared to pay for a few cents for baggage at the checkout. Prices are slightly higher than expected, but manageable. Arrive earlier in the day to obtain fresh-baked goods from the bakery. Fresh fruits and vegetables year-round. Excellent seasonal special items and deals throughout the year. Highly recommended.

Great place people are friendly and lost of fresh salads...they have a great selection of wine and beer...I also won 5 euros on the lottery

I go almost everyday. They have one good canned NEIPA.
