We are new to the Netherlands and it was such a challenge finding an honest plumber, and when we were close to giving up hope is when we met Nicolas. We are so grateful for the amazing work he did for us during our kitchen renovation, gave really good sound advice, his work is clean and is highly accountable. Great customer service, very professional and meticulous in the way he works. Nicolas speaks very good english which was great and he explained everything to me every step of the way. He was persistent with resolving the problem. My kitchen sink clogs up sometimes but this time the problem was serious. No water was flowing. The Vve had sent over a couple of plumbers before I contacted Nicolas. The Vve's plumbers could not solve the problem and they told me that the pipe had to be changed. However, Nicolas was really persistent and in the end this paid off. I avoided a bigger cost. There are a lot of plumbers but I specifically chose Vantomme as he's the business owner himself and this gave me confidence that he'd operate at a high level - which was the case. Very friendly guy, highly motivated and professional! Solved the problem which had been going on for a long time! Highly recommended!!

When we moved to a new apartment I was looking for a plumber in the area and found him online. Reading the good reviews made me contact him. And the reviews don’t lie, I was very pleased with the great experience. Nicolas has done several jobs in our apartment like ventilation installation, boiler installation and tap installation and it has always been of good quality.

I would highly recommend Nicolas. He is very skilled and professional, works tidy and cleans up during and after the job. Which I personally value a lot. He always gives a fair price and will never try to sell you more than what is needed. Very honest and nice person.

We had a problem with a pipe that is linked to the boiler, the pipe was old, rusty and was leaking. Nicholas was very professional and friendly. He even came the week before the appointment to have a good look to make sure he had everything he needed for the repair appointment.
Also, thanks to him we discovered that there was a small GAS LEAKAGE! which was easily fixed by the Verwarming company afterwards.

Totally recommend Vantomme (Nicholas) there might be a long waiting time but the service is worth it.

Just like all the reviewers below, I'm a huge fan of Nicolas. My previous plumbers in Amsterdam were people who called themselves 'Calamiteit', and that's exactly what the quality of their service was! Nicolas is super responsive, knows what he's doing, and hates to let go of a problem until he's solved it. In short, I feel really well cared for and fully trust that, with him, the problem will be solved to my satisfaction.

Nicolas helped me a few times with resolving boiler problems and now latest last week to open up my shower wall to replace a rusty pipe. He managed to do so and still put my tiles back intact and still looking good! Nicolas is a solid and friendly professional who does a great job, keeps what he promises and delivers the best possible (creative) solutions without any negative surprises. His colleague Sander also did a great job changing the grouting between the floor tiles in the shower. Neat, quick, efficient and according to agreement. Keep up the good work Vantomme!

It is always hard to find trustworthy people to do a job in your home without extra drama. I have always felt comfortable using Vantomme's services. Nicolas is extremely professional, polite, a hard-worker, and completes jobs to the highest standard. I would recommend Nicolas to everyone. Responds quickly, keeps you posted on the arrival time, he works fast and more important > he knows what he is doing. He wasn't trying to "sell" more products, in-contrary he checked the expansion barrel and advised it is still OK for use. He cleaned up behind and even fixed a small issue with the shower tap in the bathroom. Perfection !!!

Wow! This guy is fantastic. Not only super responsive and flexible, but incredibly competent and very honest and open. He really took tomme time to diagnose our water heater problem, then fixed not only the fan but also double-checked that it wasn’t an electrical issue causing the problem. On top of it, he’s just a really nice guy. He will for sure be our go-to person for any plumbing needs going forward!

We called Nicolas last year when we were having issues with the boiler in our apartment in Amsterdam. He fixed it quickly and that was that! We were already happy with his work.

Fast forward to this year, my partner and I moved to Den Helder. One week after our move, our radiators stopped working overnight. We have two small parrots who shouldn't be kept below 18°, and the house was already at 15.5° by morning. I was panicking a bit.

I called no less than 15 local plumbers, and not a single one could help me the same day.

I finally pulled up Nicolas's number, texted him and explained the situation, said we'd pay whatever emergency/travel fees if he could come up to Den Helder today.

He said it wasn't possible today, but that he could call me. He called, and walked us through how to fix the issue ourselves. 10 minutes later, our heating is working again.

Literally spent the entire morning getting more and more frustrated at not being able to find a single person to help us. Nicolas saved the day!!! And our birds are nice and warm again 🥰

Nicolas has been go-to my plumber for various jobs over the past 7 years. He is extremely reliable, will go out of his way to make sure the job gets done and communicates clearly.
