Exactly what we wanted. Super tasty food, filling spicy and great value. Staff friendly and beer was good. The music was really cool. No idea why people were trying to get into coba next door it had zero atmosphere. Plus I got to tick "surname cuisine" off my list.

This is really good.Excellent deal, delicious food for a great price. Of course it is taking a typical Surinamese dish and putting it into a hipster converted garage and you can get just as a good a roti from a local shop, but compared to the other options in the area it’s one of the best choices!

Simpel, betaalbaar en goede Roti. Na het eten wordt het omgebouwd tot de club Garage Noord waar je gratis mag blijven. Hier een hapje eten loont zich dus dubbel en dwars!

Zelden zo een lekkere roti gegeten. Service vriendelijk. Maar de toiletten kunnen wat beter onderhouden worden.

Well, I was happy there is now a place in Noord where you can order vega(n) roti (or have it for take-out). But it just isn't the best roti in Amsterdam. The flavors of the vegetables were all the same from one marinade/sauce. The tempeh wasn't crispy. The bread (plaat) wasn't fresh. The portion was quite small. The egg was pretty good. The terrace is nicely set out, very laid-back atmosphere. Not sure if I will be back, though.
