Excellent shop. Great service. Fair prices.

My wife and I just moved here from USA and were treated very well. Jordan's shop was our first stop looking for bicycles after we arrived here, but we went to some other shops around the area as well. We ended up back at Cheap Bike Shop though.

Some might look at the 'cheap' DIY plywood counter & work bench and think the wrong thing. This just let me know that Jordan is a craftsman of sorts. I was impressed at how neat and organized all his tools are at his work bench. Chatting with him for a short while it became very apparent he knows what he is doing.

He helped inform us of what is common for Dutch bicycles and what we didn't necessarily need. Coming from the US, I was set on hand brakes...at least until I tried a Dutch made bike with a modern coaster brake. Having extra features 1) makes a bike a larger target for theft and 2) more complex potentially requiring extra service.

We purchase 2 new bikes and added a rear wheel lock, saddle bags to one, a basket to the other and chains for both, all at a very reasonable cost.

If we ever need service you can bet we will be back. Thank you for all your help Jordan!

Excellent Bike Shop, very friendly service! I ordered a rear carrier and unfortunately it arrived with a missing part, Jordan was very helpful and quickly came up with a solution that I am very happy about. If you're looking for accessories or a even a used bike, I would highly recommend the Cheap Bike Shop. Would happily go back just to hang out, the atmosphere is that friendly in the shop!

The name says it all : have low expectations, pay a low price!
*major point being that security is still the n°1 priority, so mechanically the bikes are 10/10 👍

Bought a bike here, there was a small issue I discovered several days later, and Jordan fixed it immediately within one hour. Great store, oriented to client!

Amazing service! Has got my problem solved with bycicle in 20 mins! Other repair shops just said they wouldn’t take it, while here , the owner just fixed the thing for 8euro and 20 mins. The only bike repair place I’ll go will be CheapBikeShop!

Super nice experience with this bike shop!! The owner identified the issues with my bike and we agreed beforehand on what he would be fixing, and he fixed it super well. He is very knowledgeable and the service is fast, easy, and very well executed! I highly recommend it :) will definitely be going back!!

I can just confirm what the other satisfied customers have written here. Service, prices, speed, fairness, friendliness, everything ist just great. I have been here two times so far and the owner took so much time to explain to you what the issue is, existing solutions, as well as transparently explains prices and his suggestions. I don't think I will ever go to another repair shop (except if I should be moving away :P).

I can absolutely recommend this shop!
The owner was very friendly and extremely helpful. He fixed my bike for a much cheaper price than other shops had said the repair would cost and he mentioned that he hears this all the time so I can definitely recommend double checking his prices with those you get in a different store. The repair was also super fast. I was away for a week when the bike was ready and it was no problem to leave it with him for the time.

When looking for a bike (either new or 2nd hand) you can definitely try this place because you won't be disappointed at all. Jordan takes care about everything related to the bike (seat,lights,lock) providing honest advice on the best solution for any particular profile/person. They also post online the pictures of the bikes together with the prices all with transparency. Besides, it is a very good location in Oost not very far from the Central Station and next to the Ooster Park.

A guy is running this bike shop and he is super friendly, helpful and honest. He helps people rather than making money which is my impression over him. And importantly you can buy cheap bikes legally! I highly recommend

The friendly and competent shop owner was able to quickly identify the problem and offer few possible solutions, dependent on budget and preferences
