This is definitely a recommended place to visit but you might need to find a friend who has the membership to be able to enter in the first place. The food served is good and the prices are reasonable. Good gathering place as you can also enjoy the seaview from the restaurant.

It is a good club set ideally by the sea shore. .Good facilities for young and old. Food is good and clean. . All the staff, waiters, guards and members and guests are generally friendly and polite. The atmosphere makes you feel at home. I enjoy being a member and so do my sons and grandchildren.

It's my go to place for everything since my early middle school days.

The Library, The Gym, The Pool, The Bar, The Captain's Deck, The Restaurant, The Game's Room, The Fun Pub... The list is never ending.

It's a wonderful club for members to enjoy their lives 😉

You can learn sailing and do all sorts of activities here.

Enjoy life my friends.

One of the top premier private club in Penang. If you love sea and water based activities, this is the club for you.

Of course, Penang Swimming Club (PSC) have a plethora of other facilities that caters to nearly every segment of club members to enjoy. Love it. ❤

This is an iconic landmark and Club in Penang that has produced many great swimmers.

With the new building, the Captain's Restaurant occupies the top floor with commanding view of the sea. The best place to be here is before sunset to see the change of colours.

Being a members' club, the F&B is reasonably priced with good selection of wines. Service can be a little slow on weekends when more people flock to this place.

Overall, deserves a 5 star rating.

This is probably Penang's best "Social Club"-- for reasons ranging from social, gastronomic as well as exercise!! It was founded in 1903-- and, like Penang, has had a very interesting history. The building is modern, large-- with great se views... and supports many varied activities. In addition to exercise, the library is well stocked--- and they are very willing to add to their collection. The social activities revolve around the excellent restaurant-- but also includes ballroom dancing, and the celebration of many "Holidays". One can buy an membership (at prevailing market prices)... or arrange for a "limited time/purpose "social membership".

One of the classic clubs of Penang. The main bar, built of wood is the archetypal colonial era clubhouse, looking out over the sea to Gunung Jerai in one direction and over the Olympic size salt water swimming pool in another. The club offers a range of facilities from scuba to sailing, and gym to karaoke. Members can take guests to the restaurants and bars, but other facilities are members only.
