Super friendly atmosphere, I felt truly welcomed. The rooms were great, best part was being surrounded by a tropical rainforest valley with wild life. Felt very comfortable. Would reccomend and will definitely need to come back again and explore the caves and local adventure tours!

I wanted a night stay in ipoh for a meeting next day. Found this peaceful place away from the hustle and bustle of the city. (Locals don’t know this place exists). Tambun! Recommended if you wanna come for a healing. Also, if you guys come with your friends, make sure to bring along any games/boardgames. TV with great wifi connections (Netflix is free).
The view was just breathtaking. Which I love nature always. Special thanks to Thinie and her colleagues who was really helpful.

Really enjoyed the caving adventure. Crystal clear water, get to see bats, learn about the history (cave used by communist). Professional guide and proper safety equipment.

It was good for quick break from the city. It was hidden in such that you forgot that the town just 5 min away. Wake up with sounds of birds, frogs n cicadas do calm the nerve. Recommend.

Good place to be near nature. It is quiet and peaceful. Also the staffs are very friendly & helpful. Nice environment for those who want to stay out from busy city.

Nice place to stay for a short vacation. We stayed in standard double room, quite large and comfortable. Breakfast was fine. But we can't do any outdoor activities due to heavy rain. Overall, we are satisfied with the services provided by the staffs.

I went during weekend. Affordable price with good surroundings for relaxing. I enjoy the cave adventure despite it being very simple. Didn't manage to do flying fox as it is raining. This place also a good place for a group activities. Breakfast is simple, understandable for the price. The desk help is quite friendly and helpful

Amazing place for staycation. It's situated within a valley and the air is fresh and cooling. We had the largest room with three queen sized beds. There's also a jaccuzi in our room. Besides, there's an open-air gazebo with a pond full of fish just below. Feel free to feed the fish. Bicycles are free to be used. You can rent board games as well. Extra activities like cave adventure and hiking are also available but with extra charges. Breakfast is not that great though. We really enjoyed our stay
Overall, highly recommended for family or friends gathering. Will definitely come again!

Wonderful location. Resort is just sandwiched between the limestone hills.
Sufficient and dedicated car park space.
Rooms are decent with good views.
Breakfast is simple and good.
Staff are very polite and friendly.
No restaurant though(self arrange lunch dinner)
Activities include: bicycle, can go on a ride at nearby cycle track just adjacent to hill and a canal. Small zip line. Jacuzzi. Main attractions(do not miss): Rock climbing: private rock climb within resort on the adjacent hill is a memorable activity for me. Thunderstorm rain during the climb was highlight. Tunnel exploring: Quite a lengthy tunnel (about 1km long) also a private to this resort. At the beginning, water in the tunnel was until sholders later upto waist. There's a waterfall inside the tunnel, world war time bunkers, lime stones etc., pitch dark if torch is off. End of the tunnel leads to rain forest and old fort.

The hotel is surrounded by nature. Its like living in between the caves. There have amazing activities, did the flying fox, climb the caves and explore caves. The caves guide Mr Shah is amazing and very knowledgeable, the tour to caves was amazing. Thank you to Shah and team.

This place is awesome. a lot of activities u can do with your family- cycling, sightseeing, brisk walking to the nearby lakes.
The eateries quite a lot here.
Poor Internet connection- but that makes us fully utilize our time with kids.
Just be careful with monkeys ( but don't worry, they won't bother you)

Stayed here with my wife for a 2D1N short holiday. Despite some hiccups, overall I'm very satisfied with this trip as the management really tries their best to accommodate me during my stay.

Initially, we signed up for 3 of their activities (flying fox, hill climbing and cave adventure). Unfortunately, the hill climbing guide had a last minute emergency but the receptionist (Azmi) was kind enough to initiate a refund for this activity alone.

As for the flying fox, not a bad experience if this is you first time trying it although the distance and duration was a little short (from one end of the premise until the main entrance and you only get to try it twice).

The cave adventure (Tambun Cave) though, was really worth the experience. The guide will teach you some interesting facts and history behind cave while exploring and you will need 2 hours to complete this.

To make up for the cancelled hill climbing activity, I purchased the Sunway Lagoon theme park tickets from the reception which their rates are a lot cheaper through them compared to buying online / walk in.

The hotel's landscape is beautiful with the surrounding nature, a definite collection for your insta stories. The price we paid for (Standard Double Room) is very affordable, so manage your stay expectations well as this is not the Ritz or Hilton.

To the management, here are some feedback for future improvements:

1) The unstable WiFi: I noticed my room #C102 is the most centralized part of the premise, so you should consider switching both the reception counter and the wifi router with room #C102 instead so that all the other rooms could get equal signal reception range from the WiFi router.

2) The flying fox: Make it at least 3 rounds per pax so that the money we paid for has more value.

3) The non functioning jacuzzi: Please get it repaired as soon as possible. I really want to enjoy it in my next possible trip.

Apart from that, thank you for making my stay a memorable one! Hope to come back again in the near future to try the hill climbing. :)

If you like nature, you will love this place. The "rooms" are individual bungalows, new, and tastefully decorated to blend in with the jungle surrounding the property. At nighttime the place transforms into a beautiful display of lights around the bungalows and the gorgeous stone walls. The owner and staff are super friendly and helpful. The only caution is that you need a car or taxi to get around to restaurants and shops.

The place was beautiful. You've to join the activities for it to be worth. Activities offered were hiking, cave tunnel, flying fox, cycling, aerobic & jogging. Our room was clean and spacious, you can cook or barbeque here. View of limestone at night was magnificent. The only complaint I have is lack of dustbin. They should provide more dustbin: bathroom and outside. We got raya cookies (kuih semperit) from the receptionist. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Don't complaint about mosquitoes, animals and wifi, it's called Xcape for a reason. If you're adventurous and nature's lover, this is your place. Thank you for your hospitality.

Very nice place for a staycation. Very well hidden gem. Room are clean and well kept.

For people who feel a lil adventurous, they have flying fox activity and cave exploring option for you.

You can even do barbeque with family. Or plan a quiet serene getaway with your loved ones.

It was suprisingly clean. I thought a forest resort would have bugs etc but they didn't. Comes with bikes, racquets and board games. Perfect for getaways where you just wanna stay in and enjoy the scenery

Best experience ever! You can do everything under one roof! All outdoors are listed and you are welcome to try. But dont forget to try the cave adventure, good for beginners and nor too challengin. Just nice stroll in the dark, cold, watery, bat infested cave! A sight to see once in your life!

It was a splendid stay with a customer-service of a class of its own. Yadi and Iki (IK - the guider) were two great helps during my stay here.

It was a short stay and they ensured I had most of it starting when I first called them for a confirmation, they allow me to check in two hours earlier than the supposed time and has given us a late check out as well.

They were helpful, sincere and friendly.

And I applaud Iki for his patience. He didnt rush guiding us in the cave and hills. It was not tense and very relaxing. He fed us with interesting and informational facts along thr way and most importantly he was very compromising.

Had a good trip. Will definitely plan for a come back.
