Mount Kinabalu Botanical Garden

A beautiful, peaceful and calm botanical garden to bring your family with to experience natures and the forest!🍃

Had so much fun exploring the botanical garden, discovered variety of plants which I had never came across before in Peninsular Malaysia. Entrance fee is RM4, and the garden close at 4pm sharp. Not exactly a big garden, but it was enough to keep me entertained for about an hour.

The attracting point here is the creek, the sound of flowing water, the mosses and the singing of birds and insects. Each of the plant is given it's scientific name as well the local name.

The entrance fee is afforadable. You can spend about 30min to 1 hour here to immerse yourself in the nature.

Amazing nature plus cool greenery make the Botanical Garden such a wonderful place to visit, if climbing Mount Kinabalu isn’t your cup of tea…

This is one place we can see the beautiful green carpet AKA moss in abundance, which goes to show how clean and crisp the air in Kinabalu Park is!

Great botanical garden on mount Kinabalu, excellent place to be with nature. Lots of wild orchids, Nepenthes and others unique plants here. Try visit early morning for fresh air and easy parking. You can drive in park near the garden entrance.

It's about a 30 min walk around. Some interesting plants to see. RM5 entrance to gardens. Weather here is not hot, feel windy very comfortable.

Rm10 per adult to enter the KK park and Rm4 for the botanical garden (for msian). Jeremy, the guide gave an interesting overview of the plants within the garden. Recommend to join the free guided tour.

Suitable for small children. It's just a small-scale garden.

Feeling peaceful and relaxing while visiting this botanical garden, visited few times here, well maintained and get to see many beautiful plants that are rare species.👍👍

Botanical Gardens.
This is a must to visit when you are traveling towards Kundasang.
This is inside Kinabalu Park. Park your car infront Dewan Kinabalu then go inside.. if not you won't able to get in.
Luckily we were alone.. hahaha.. because you won't able to enjoy this when it's too crowded..
There are exotic flowers.. greenery..misty garden.. misty giant trees..small river..
Restricted Nursery.. and the walkway are all in wooden and misty... You will love it .
Bring your loved one alone! Hehe😘😘

Very fun to walk and find rare vegetation, cool weather, easy to walk, not far away.

This is a beautiful botanical garden. They really did a good job in beautifying and maintaining this place. Take your time here to breath in the fresh cold air. No rush. Take that beautiful pictures for your social media. Any area in that garden worthy of your photography skills.

Great botanical garden on mount Kinabalu, not so big but many unique plants here. We join a local tour, and is one of the see sights. The guide is wonderful, and we learn a lot here.

Hidden gem of flora and fauna, can eat the wild berries, ripe purple ones are sweet.

The last time i went here is 7 years ago. There been some improvement and my kids love the short walk. Cool breeze with lots of greens.

Many diverse plants from around Kinabalu national park can be found here, very friendly and informative guide that you can join at 9 am, noon and 3 pm

The Botanic garden is located within the Kinabalu Park. Pay RM10 to enter Kinabalu Park and then need to pay another RM4 to enter Botanic garden. Garden is not too big, but is well maintained.

Really nice place.

Some people say that it’s not worth to visit, but if you don’t climb to the peak, then it’s the best place!

Beautiful place, fresh air. The weather makes it so much nicer.

Breathtaking. Don't forget your hiking shoes and sweater. It's chilly in the morning
