Beautiful place to take pictures. The view is extraordinary. Can do a lot of activity such as feeding the animal. Also can see the process of how to make Desa Milk. I highly recommend you to come here if you're on a trip in Kundasang.

It is advisable to purchase the entrance ticket online (RM5 per person) before you visit the farm. We arrived here at 8:30 am, and it was quite crowded. Fortunately, we managed to find a parking spot.

Inside, there is a garden full of different types of flowers, which is perfect for photos. In addition to the flowers, there is a calf farm where you can feed the calves with a bottle of milk or grass, though there may be additional charges.

The milk and yogurt are a must-try! I especially enjoyed the yogurt ice cream. We bought a few flavors of milk, and all of them tasted great.

Overall, it's a must-visit place if you're in Kundasang.

My recent visit to Desa Farm in Kundasang was an absolute delight and marked my first proper encounter with a farm setting. This charming farm has swiftly become one of my favorite places in Kundasang, offering an immersive and memorable experience for both kids and adults alike.

The highlight of my trip was the opportunity to get up close and personal with the cows, witness the farm's fresh produce in action, and even try my hand at milking cows. It was an educational and fascinating experience that left me with a newfound appreciation for the farming process.

Desa Farm doesn't just provide a visual feast – the taste buds are in for a treat too. The frozen yogurt, milk, and yogurt produced fresh from the farm are must-tries. The quality and freshness are evident, making for a delicious and authentic farm-to-table experience.

While the farm can get quite busy, especially with families and curious visitors, the staff efficiently manages the crowds, ensuring that the line for various activities moves swiftly. The bustling atmosphere only adds to the vibrant energy of the place.

The farm is a gem for anyone seeking a unique and enjoyable outing. Whether you're interested in farm activities, tasting fresh dairy products, or simply soaking in the picturesque surroundings, this place has it all. Don't miss the chance to indulge in the frozen yogurt – it's a delightful way to cap off a wonderful visit!

Very nice view in Kundasang, you can see Mt KK from here.

You get to feed the calf as well. Rm1 for milk or grass to feed them.

Try their fresh ice cream with amazing views. 👍🏻

You’d have to make a booking before coming here, and you can enter during your timeslot.

What greeted us when we reached the Desa Dairy Farm in the morning were an overcast sky coupled with a light drizzle and an overflow of vehicles parked by the roadsides and also at whatever conceivable spaces still available.

Its manicured lawns with white painted wooden guard rail and rolling pastures was what we had visualized it to be from images of a typical western farm portrayed in pictures and photos. It brings much joy to our hearts.

The exhibition lobby was full of visitors watching the mechanized packaging process live including many who were stranded inside by the drizzle. The cafe and souvenir center were enjoying brisk business.

The sky soon cleared up for us to go outdoor to watch calves grazing on the pastures but grown cows were noticeably absent as they are kept in sheltered facilities for milking to keep the farm afloat.

At the sheltered barns just a few flights of stairs below the exhibition lobby, we were allowed to buy tidy little bundles of long grass or bottled milk on sale to feed the hungry and not so hungry calves and more opportunities to photograph dainty flowers and sculptured garden just outside.

Indeed it is not just a thriving dairy farm but have realized its ecotourism potential in attracting overseas tourists to our shores especially from Singapore.

Playfully known as the ‘Little New Zealand’ of Sabah, this place reminds you of Kiwi land’s famous dairy farms. The cooling air, foggy surroundings and highlands landscapes naturally make you feel as if you are somewhere overseas.

The real attraction here is the cattle farm, producing about 900,00 litres of milk per year. The farm is about 199 hectares and most of the milking cows are Holstein Friesians breed, the highest milk producer of all cattle breeds.

The place is an ideal destination for the whole family, where there are plenty of activities such as feeding the calves with bottled milk, feeding goats, observing how milk is processed as well as the educational tour for all. If you have ever wondered how milk is collected and then commercialized, Desa Cattle Farm is the place to be.

Desa Cattle Dairy Farm has been developed and integrated into an Agro-tourism business that proves to be sustainable and produces high-quality local-made products such as assorted fresh milk, yogurts, cheese and yes! their famous Gelato ice cream.

The live farm is not only the main attraction but so are the food. Pairing a nice view with delicious snacks and drinks makes a perfect combo.

A must visit place when you are in Kundasang!

First of all, please buy the ticket first online to reduce your waiting time at the counter. RM5/session, choose the milking session if you want to see the up-close.

I went for the earliest session and went there at 8 AM. Still plenty of parking during this time.

Gelato is a must try, so does their fresh milk!

Desa Dairy Farm is located in Kundasang.
One of a must place to visit in Kundasang trip.
No other places in Malaysia to experience and explore this kind of views and taste the fresh milk produced only here for Borneo’s market.
Just be patient to enter, park the car and enjoying all the things around here if come during weekdays or public holiday.
Not miss to try all their delicious milk, yogurt, ice cream etc.
Thank you to the owner and Sabah government for this amazing place to visit for all 👍🏻🥳🎉

Fun place to visit while in the area. Unfortunately the weather was very foggy when we visited so couldn't get a clear view of Mt. KK. My kid enjoyed feeding the cows though.

It’s was fun going to this place, so vibrant. Beautiful scenery and you’ll see pretty flowers and plants all over the place. You get to feed the cattle’s and enjoy their own homemade brand yogurts (I love it) and ice cream. This should not be missed when in Kota Kinabalu.

It’s not exaggerating if I say this is Malaysian version of ‘New Zealand’. Well maintained and organized farm in terms of cleanliness and flow of visitors. The cool breeze, weather and scenery are breathtaking. We can witness mount Kinabalu peak nearest from this point. My favorite is calf feeding and petting zone in the farm. Free parking. Highly recommended if you visit Sabah.

Absolutely beautiful! Their washbasins' soap dispensers were all empty. Not much to do there other than look at calves and go to the viewing platform overlooking the milking. But the views surrounding the place are wonderful. They should have footpaths into the cattle grazing area.
