Konunukan Garden & Camping Ground

Beautiful resort on the edge of a mountain, almost feel like floating in the clouds when the sun about to rise. Decent size room with 3 double beds on top level and comfortable dining and living area at the bottom.
Peace and quiet from all the hustle and bustle in the city. Fresh air every morning as you open the balcony door. Ooh heavens

I love the place so muchh! So beautiful but sadly it’s very hard to see Mt Kinabalu but no problem since there’s anywhere else you can go to get the view. The weather is very cold at night till early morning.

Staff: Very welcoming, friendly and reply whatsapp very fast.
Bathroom: The water pressure for hot water is very slow.
Bedroom: Very comfy! You can ask for extra mattress if needed.

I’d suggest you to grab some food or Tapau from any restaurant before you check in (if you check in late evening) because the road path to go to this place is very extreme and scary haha. You can also cook there.

Would love to come again!

Amazing bathroom facilities. Kitchen equipments are better than most homes.

One of the best place I have stayed in kundasang. Affordable, clean, full of nature, a place that we can pretend we are camping and then sleep indoor in the nice cozy villa. Dogs here are so friendly and they love food, the cat is so picky in food. Love the camping site where they provide basin and power socket, so convenient for beginners campers. Their villa is fully equipped with toaster, microwave, mugs, utensils, pans and everything you asked for like a cozy home. They also have 3 beds where you can fit in the entire family. They also have tv and cozy dining area in the villa. Oh! It’s drone friendly zone.

Great place to stay. Amenities were pretty complete especially the kitchen. Room was surrounded by beautiful garden. Has space for camping and bbq too. Whole place was clean. However the setting is probably not friendly for elderlies as the steps to the bedroom is pretty steep. As well as the steps from the parking lot to the rooms. Perhaps provide a lane for wheelchairs.
Anyhow overall we enjoyed the stay.

Amazing. Rural from the city meaning peace and harmony. Extraordinary maintenance done by the gardeners to keep the place looking as beautiful as the flower fields of Netherlands. Chalets are rather small but it has all the necessities, a toilet 3 beds and a kitchen plus a couch and a television. Weather is perfect as the mountains are cold and breezy, picnics, catch and any outdoor sport except badminton would be excellent to play at here. There are also many dogs that you can play with- +1 point. 9/10 would reccomend to stay at if you visit Kundasang.

Surprisingly well done, the toilet is clean and the heater actually heats up the water well for shower. Utensils and cooking accessories are in good condition and quality. The downside is that the toilet is downstairs whereas the sleeping beds are upstairs.

New guest house started 2019. Every thing still new and have all the essential kitchen appliances and table ware to prepare meal after shopping from market.
Recommend to stay 2 nights at least 1 night to cook the fresh ingredient buy from the market.

Amazing and peaceful place to stay. Booking and check-in process are smooth and easy. Studio unit is clean and they also offered food service (halal) which is super convenient for us (better to order earlier). Very friendly staff as well.

Highly recommended and will definitely come to this beautiful place again. This place is nearby with Kinabalu Park, and 10 minutes away from the Kundasang town.

My 2nd time here during hari raya...good to be back again if you need to relax n enjoy yourself with family only, this is the best place...bring your hari raya meals and wake up early to enjoy the spectacular morning view.

Amazing place with a view of Mount Kinabalu. Showers are 5 star. They also have complete kitchen with tables and chairs. Very quiet place and cold in the evening. But we were there during weekdays!

Lovely place outlooking the valleys of Bundu Tuhan & u can see Mount Kinabalu too. Beautiful & clean chalet & landscape. They have a huge outdoor space for BBQ separated from the chalets. Great place for families.

My 4x4 stranded here while camping yesterday but fortunately the staffs were very helpful to get one of the guest to use his 4x4 to pull me out the the slippery wet road. Nick, thanks for using your 4x4 to pull me out. Also thank the staffs of Konunukan for their assistance and care.

A definitely good place for holiday gateway. Locate in a very hidden valley with beautiful mountains view. Nice setup with camp sites and chalet. Good for family and friends

The place is very well managed, clean and tidy. 24H electricity supply. The kitchen has gas stove, electric rice cooker, electric kettle and all other kitchen utensils. Value for money. Great place for family.

Its definitely a 5 star from me, great place, great host, very quite. I went on a weekday so there's only me and another group here the other day. One note though the wind can be very strong so if you don't want to use the public kitchen, and want to use your own portable stove, make sure to bring those 8 piece aluminum cover to make fire easier..

Great & calm place for a family of 5 or 6 (if with infant) as it has 2 Queen beds and 1 single bed. The kitchen utensils are complete and high quality (rice cooker, fridge, kettle, induction cooker, pans, plates, toaster, etc). You just need to bring your cooking ingredients 😁 Toilet is clean, house is cozy. Stairs in the house a bit steep, small kids would love to go up and down the stairs 😁 beautiful garden but if it's rainy season it will be so muddy and the place will be surrounded by fog - may not see Akinabalu.
